We were so excited to experience this unique place. Unfortunately...we were sat right by the band and it was so loud...we couldn't hear each other speak much less our waiter when it came time to order. I'll bet the food was good...but I can't vouch for it. We decided we couldn't handle our table location and enjoy our dining experience surrounded by so much noise...so we got up and left after about 7 minutes of being there. This place would be better suited for after dinner IMO.

I was excited to check out this place because of the live music and performers. When we got there, we were seated in a room with a stage and curtains closed. We were excited to see the show. But it never started, and when we asked the waiter about the show, he said it only happened on Friday and Saturday nights. I wish we would have known that because that was the reason I booked reservations there. It was disappointing.

We came to Rose.Rabbit.Lie after the Seth Meyers show for some late night bites, and man was it happenin' in there. We go there a little early so went to the bar for a couple of their amazing cocktails, all hand-crafted and really good. They found us shortly there after to sit us in the small, but cozy dining area, which still had great views of the piano and band. The live music/entertainment they had was really fun. They were really good, fun to listen and watch as they worked their way through the restaurant. We ordered 2 app's and 2 desserts, they forgot to bring out the Pork Belly, but were quick to remove it off the bill. The one highlight of the food was the butterscotch pudding with cubes of pumpkin, wow, it was outstanding!

Like entering a 1920's social club. Great food and entertainment. A place Gatsby would approve of... house band was excellent, soulful jazz singers, the tap dancer was amazing. The food comes in small servings; order several plates and share them. We had warm spinach salad, oysters Rockefeller, calamari and braised short ribs in a stroganoff sauce. All done very well, with nuances that made them unique. Before being seated, we started in the bar - called The Study. Reviews said this place had mixologists, not bar tenders, and the reviews were spot on. Best Old Fashion I have ever had, and my wife's martini with rosemary infused vermouth was outstanding. 5-stars to Andrew behind the bar. Highly recommend.

Food was good, not great for the $$$ prices. Most food is tapas or appetizer style. Even the 6 lb. chicken was only about a pound and a half (to share). Their formula is pretty much the same throughout the night. There is a live piano player with live singer that works (walks or dances) and if the singer is a male, he has dancer in front. There may be some side dancer (acrobatic style or break dancer) or not. Overall, the best thing was how they served the cocktails in a glass that had a large ice cube and a higher middle part at the bottom that allow for it to spin when your drink is being served. Go for the drinks and not the food.

My wife and I just had to try the RRL while in Vegas this time. Glad we did but probably won't be going back. The food was good the atmosphere was incredible and service was good at the beginning. It is definitely not for that special romantic dinner setting as we had to yell to each other to be heard. The shows and music was great. We did notice that once a table filled up with about 8 guests, our table of two became largely ignored, which I guess is understandable. I had the frog legs and rabbit which were both fantastic. Overall we are glad we went but we probably won't be back.

Rose. Rabbit. Lie. is a unique and chic restaurant-lounge, and feels like a 20s classic bar lounge meets a modern Alice in Wonderland. The hits for me were the Heavenly Egg (steamed egg with black truffles; though not quite a custard as the menu stated) and rock shrimp with butter squash ravioli. The roasted foie gras with figs was average; the foie was obscured by the figs, and I would have preferred more caramelization and a stronger tanginess to propel the flavor through. The caviar taco was cute but the caviar flavor was masked by its taco accoutrements (not a fan of the guacamole). Service was exceptionally good and very warm. The performers were upbeat and a mix of old world meets modern pop culture, and yet not gaudy or overdone.

If you are trying to ruin your dinning experience, then you should eat here. They have a discriminatory dress code and even worse management. I have never been treated more poorly by a restaurant manager than when I ate here. A member of our party was running late and arrived in a dinner coat, nice pants and nice flip flops, but was denied entry to the restaurant. There were other patrons in gym t-shirts and women in open toed shoes inside. The lack of attention to service was appalling given the amount of money you will waste at this place.

We looked up rose.rabbit.lie online and it gave the impression of a show style lounge with drinks and food offered. The video on their website and how it was promoted was not at all what it was. It was instead a sit down dinner restaurant where they have some people perform in the background throughout the evening while people dine. There was no performance in the hour we were there, and we had had dinner already, more so went to see entertainment while having drinks. The main room where the shows used to be was completely closed off. However the ambience and room was very cool, and menu sounded delicious.

Very tasty, beautifully presented food, tapas style. Every 30 minutes there is a 30 minute variety show with live band, singer, tap dancer and more! Really enjoyed our time and even loved the brussel sprouts. Interesting twists on classics such as oysters rockefeller and the short rib stroganoff. Loved the old time cocktails from recipe books from the 1940's. Would definitely go back again to delve deeper into the interesting menu. Lloyd was a fine server knew his menu and helpful as to selection.

We had a 6:45 seating.....we booked on friend's recommendation. It was excellent. We started with a MarkTwain and Monte Carlo....moved on to the Widow's Kiss and Sazerac and ended with Gin Martinis. Food was tapas style and excellent. Oysters Rockefeller, frog legs, short ribs....Loup de mer en croute were our favorites. We went crazy and had the chocolate terrarium for dessert. It's something Willy Wonka would dream up. Real flowers planted in chocolate, with everything being edible. For two people it was over the top, but just right for 4-6 people. Throughout our dinner a crooner, tap dancer, vibrant freestyle type dancer, more cabaret singing entertained. It may get more risqué later in the evening.

While the concept has changed since it opened (the overall experience is different now, and not necessarily better or worse), the food at RRL remains one of Las Vegas' great hidden gems. Every item on the "tapas-style-plus" menu (i.e., served to share and taste, but with portions larger than what I think most people will consider tapas-sized), is well-conceived and beautifully plated, and night to night, the quality is consistent (although I admit I haven't been on a weekend, when the restaurant can get packed). While the original entertainment associated with RRL worked with the quirky space and added to the overall experience, the new entertainment just isn't "edgy" enough, and seems thrown together without a consistent theme.

Four of us went there late on a Saturday night for dessert and cocktails. As you would expect, it was quite crowded and noisy, though the noise got a bit better after the lounge singer finished. The service was a bit slow, but acceptable considering how busy it was. The desserts we got were excellent and the portions were ample. Of the four mixed drinks we ordered, all but mine were extremely strong! Overall, we all enjoyed the restaurant and would like to try their normal dinner food.

Ok, had a group of 4 on saturday 9/20/14. The service was exceptionally poor. Initial server forgot about us as we sat for 20 min with no greeting at all. He showed up stuttering, I asked for a new server and it was better but then came the food. It was mediocre at best. Defiantly overpriced and underwhelming. All presentation and no substance. I ate at Giada and Cut the previous two nights and the service and food at Rose.Rabbit.lie was more comparable to to cafeteria food than to those outstanding restaurants. The only plus was the the entertainment was...entertaining.

We went to dinner here based on a recommendation by a friend for my 40th birthday. We did the small plates versus the feast as we had to accommodate vegetarian eaters etc The food was bursting with flavor and every dished that the group tried was pleasing. We had to try dessert because we were very pleased with the meal and we knew the dessert would be amazing. It was! I recommend the Black Forest Cherry Cake, it is not your typical slice of cake! The entertainment going on during dinner, makes this a fun place to dine. Very talented performers that made the dinner ever more memorable. The waiter was excellent. He took his time explaining everything and was patient. Very attentive! Will return next time in Vegas.

The food is unique and comes in small portions. Our server recommend we each order 3-4 plates to share. We weren't sure how much food would be enough, and so said we'd order some and then more if needed. Our server would not allow us to do that and wanted our complete order. Almost immediately after we ordered they began to bring our food. It was so rushed and chaotic. The experience of enjoying the food and ambiance were completely spoiled but the pace they set for us.

Atmosphere was fun and tantalizingly sexy. It is not all about the food. Every detail was covered, from the engraving on the silverware to the drink glasses that swirl with a touch. The waiters are attentive and friendly, you feel like your in a movie set in the mid 30's or 40's. Dimly lit, seductive and just waiting for something to happen. And, then it does, the jazz band starts, the deep voiced singer starts belting out a classic, while a scantily dressed dancer sways from table to table. The food was great! Each plate had its own taste and lingered on your tongue for just a moment after you swallowed. From the eggs with truffle oil, to the wonderful oysters, to the decadent terrarium chocolate finish. The place is a delight!
