"This was my third visit to Rosa Mexicana and it matched the earlier ones. excellent! I am diabetic and asked the server if the bartender could make me a margarita without sugar syrup He returned to the table with an explanation that the bartender could use
Splenda as a substitute for the syrup and Agave juice. The drink he served was excellent and the bartender deserves credit for being flexible and creative. The table side guacamole was exceptionally tasty."

"We were finally seated 50 minutes after our reservation time. The food was better than when it first opened but still not up to par with the china town location, the ones in Miami, nor NYC. Was hoping for a much better dining experience on a Friday night."

"While the food is excellent, the service at this new branch of the chain is abominable so I would advise either dining at off-peak hours when the kitchen and servers might be better able to handle orders or else waiting a few months until they, hopefully, hit their stride. Also, be aware that the noise level here is extremely high. For less noise, request seating in the room with carpeting."

"Nothwithstanding i made a reservation and i called a day ahead to confirm the party number and the time of arrival, we were asked to wait for 30minutes before our table was ready. The host at the entrance was not very understanding of the fact that were were dining with 3 kids (one of which 4 years old) and that our tollerance for waiting was low. She seemed upset that i kept asking the status of the table. There are many ways restaurants can deal with delay in food preparation or tables, howver she was not empathetic nor offered ways to show consideration.
Wecare not returning."

"We went for a girls night out to celebrate birthdays. It was fun and lively but very loud to try to have conversations. Food and service was good. We are delighted to have such a fun spot in the neighborhood."

"This may be a so-called high-end Mexican restaurant, so I was disappointed to find it dominated by a bar with TVs across the back side. I was expecting something a little quiter and slightly more refined. High-end in prices, albeit with great food, Rosa Margarita still has much of the ethnic, noisy ambiance of most Mexican restaurants. In this latter respect, it is a fun place and the food is excellent. For the quality and quantity, the price was reasonable enough. However, drinks are very expensive and two ordinary margaritas will double the price of dinner. So, best limit oneself to one drink and/or get there before 7:00 p.m. and enjoy Happy Hour at the bar, then eat dinner. If you go, go for food and fun but limit drinks if $ matters."

"Food was okay. Nothing special. If I were to go again it would be just for the guacamole and the margaritas (which weren't as strong as the other Rosas). I think the menu could improve. Saving grace was our waiter. Very attentive and helpful."

"Some of the worst service I have ever experienced. I have eaten several times at the Penn Quarter location and have received good service and good food, however this location is entirely different. The service was terrible. For example, we had to ask 6 times to get another place setup for the table (set for 5 our party was 6). We never did know who the server was who was assigned to the table, and there were long periods of time when we couldn't find anyone to even ask. The food was just so-so. We will never return to this location."
