Lunch menu had many options, as well as some vegetarian options which proved to be delish (miso eggplant and curried quinoa patties) My friend had the Chinese chicken salad and gave it a thumbs up. Mango and coconut sorbets were a great way to top off the meal and Matt our waiter gave us personal recommendations was awesome! We started with the onion rings which were crisp and not greasy. The wasabi aioli was an excellent match. We followed with uni and blue fin tuna sushi - both perfectly fresh. Again, the chef sent out another fish for us to try. We ended the meal with the crab stack and kobe beef sliders. We lovedboth dishes. Don't miss the lychee martini, both sweet and tart. The service was wonderful and our waiter very helpful in guiding us through the crazy collection of fusion dishes and options. The food was very flavorful and expertly prepared and presented in vey generous proportions. Thankfully, the dishes were not spiked with red pepper or other hot spices as so many other restaurants do with "Asian fusion". we could taste and savor all the subtle flavors. Even though we split the appetizer crab stack salad (with the dressing served on the side) and lamb chops entree, we had no room for dessert. We have been going to a new restaurant every Saturday night for quite some time and our selections are based upon the Open Table rankings and reviews. My wife pushed Roppongi to the top of our to-do list and it was so superior, we were overwhelmed. The ambiance, food and service were the very best. I am surprised that Roppongi does not have the very top ranking on Open Table because they certainly deserve it more so then some of the trendy/groovy hot spot restaurants that we've been to that simply don't match up to Roppongi. The service was outstanding. I was visiting friends in the area and discovered this restaurant on the Internet. My friends who live in the area didn't know about this restaurant and fell in love!
