Diner Reviews
  • "Went here for brunch with a group of 7 & a baby. The food was very good and the waiters were extremely nice."

  • "Very nice service, but a little amateur - lots of empty dishes, glasses left on table. Food is mediocre at best. Burger was good but big buns were stale (I'm talking 3-days old). Had to send back my lb) entree as it was over cooked (well done when I ordered it rare to mid rare) and when I got it back, it was raw. Some nice beers. I would go here for a drink but eat elsewhere."

  • "A friend and I took another friend to Roost for her birthday. We wanted to like this new restaurant on Newbury street, but the only stellar thing about it was our waiter Miguel. One friend observed Miguel trying to confirm the specials with the manager who appeared to be very dismissive. My porkbelly sandwich was greasy and goopy (from the coleslaw), my friend's crispy chicken sandwich was over done. The lobster roll was good, but needed more mayo and less bread. Miguel was extremely attentive but it seemed as though he didn't have much support. There was only one other table with two diners, yet we waited a long time for our meal. I think they need to work out some kinks with food delivery, executive service and the ambiance."
