ROOM at TwelveBRUNCHVery good Mother's Day Brunch. Table-side service was prompt and curteous. The food service was slow, but the place was very busy. The food was good and enjoyable. The valet service was overwhelmed - they should have been better prepared for the busy day.

We were running late & arrived at the restaurant with only an hour and 15 minutes before the show started. We called in advance to let them know we were going to the Fox Theater at 8 pm, and they assured us that it wouldn't be a problem. True to their word, we were in & out in only about 40 minutes. The hostess had informed our waiter before we arrived about our deadline. We were seated promptly, & our waiter was ready to serve us our drinks immediately. They brought us bread, and before we were finished with it, our dinner was served! The bread was ok, but we loved our dinner. It's a nice venue for employee gatherings and special occasions. The food is always good and is reasonably priced. The cranberry spread makes the turkey burger my favorite lunch item. My only complaint is that the service is sometimes slow. Grits, shrimp, eggs, omelette, mimosas, etc. Presentation was basic but neat. The service was top notch with the wait staff, bar staff and management going out of their way to be warm welcoming and attentive. Very relaxed atmosphere.1/1/0001 4:00:00 PM
