"Had a great time at Room 39. Tried the tasting menu and ventured to try a few things we normally wouldn't. The desserts we got - chocolate peanut butter tart and beignets in caramel - were AMAZAING. Our waitress was also very helpful and gave us great food recommendations - never would have tried the chicken livers without her suggestion, and they were delicious."

"Food was exceptional. Loved the experience. Great ambiance. The chef here, Brandon Winn was amazing and truly made our experience exceptional. I was blown away and even took the time to come out and speak to us regarding our food."

"I really want to like this restaurant. It is attractive and nicely sized. We went on a Thursday night and found it very quiet, with maybe four tables filled and a few people in the bar. If you want privacy and quiet, and an atmosphere where you feel comfortable lingering, this is a good place. I have to admit, however, that I just did not enjoy my food enough to justify the price. The arugula salad was great, but my main dish (bass) seemed to be soaked in butter (beurre rouge) and bacon fat. Also, the gnocchi is prepared in an odd manner, sort of pan fried like hash browns. For the price, I was disappointed. I will say that my companions enjoyed their meals. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing."

"Had the 4 course sampler on a recommendation from the waiter. He had a keen sense in what to recommend (very different between the 2 of us) and EVERYTHING we had was superb. Thoroughly enjoyed it and to top it all off the dessert was incredible; as if anything could be better than the food we had. Felt like I should have rolled myself out of there...lol."
