Diner Reviews
  • "The appetizers were wonderful - must try the portobello mushroom fries & pretzel bites - delish! The lobster macaroni and cheese was the bomb. The waitress a little distracted so you kind of had to flag her down now and then for more drinks. Warning - once you are given your check - you are OUT. No more service for you. Good place to try but will not return."

  • "This restaurant is definitely for a sophisticated youth. The food is good, but nothing exotic, and the seating is more ideal for just drinks rather than a full meal. Don't make reservations for big groups. Its not that kind of restaurant."

  • "Great bar type feel with classy food in small portions. Great for a light meal a couple of drinks. I really liked the seating arrangements and the atmosphere. Service with fine but felt a little rushed."

  • "We enjoyed a seven course, prix fixe meal at Room 38. The food was good-to-very-good, (with the stuffed shrimp being simply good and the lobster bisque being very good), creatively and well prepared, well plated, and each course accompanied by a cleverly paired sparkling wine. We were glad that we sat at the bar, as most seating in the place is comprised of low tables—ideal for cocktails and meze, but maybe not so comfortable for a meal."

  • "Sharing small plates is a must here- great interesting flavors & combinations, drinks were awesome- service a little slow but friendly & helpful with recommendations. Try the oreo-covered chocolate chip funnel cake!"

  • "They had some kind of bass booming club mix going on all through dinner. All of the tables were screaming trying to talk above the music and the other tables also screaming, so we were screaming to talk to people at the other end of the table. Maybe if you were just sitting right next to someone you could hear them but we had a group of 7. Food was good."

  • "Arrived and was very surprised by the small size of this establishment. We had reservations for 7:30, they could not seat us at a table till after 8:20p. Food was good, drinks were good, music very loud and hard to carry on a conversation."

  • "Young, hip spot close to campus. Best for drinks and appetizers. Dinner entrees were OK, nothing special. Skinny margaritas were the find. Would return for them and the artichoke dip."
