The chef, actually made certain dishes special for her so shecould taste these foods for the first time. It was a beautiful scenic view high above thecity, seeing a birds-eye of Temple Square on one side and the Capital building and the Avenues homes. The service was extraordinary. The pianist was very talented and the ambiance was nothing we have ever experienced. We are in power chairs and she is on oxygen, and they gave us a table that was in the perfect location. The views are amazing, and the ambience of the restaurant was excellent. The service was outstanding. Although the buffet display was impressive to look at, the taste of the food was not this restaurant's strongest suit. The food was good, but not great. My favorite time to dine there is about 30 minutes before sunset. It's an incredible site to watch the sunset and see all the lights turn on in downtown Salt Lake City. We were not disappointed. We were able to be seated at the table of our choice with a beautiful view of the Salt Lake Temple and grounds just outside our window. The wait staff was efficient and friendly without being overbearing. Live piano music added to the atmosphere. The food preparation and presentation were wonderful - very upscale. There were about twenty-five items on the desert bar. We sampled many of them and they were all delicious. It would be hard to pick a favorite.
