"Went there for Valentines Day, trusting other reviews. Made reservations for no reason because there was only a few other people there for that night. My boyfriend and I like to have Sapporo's and Hot Sake with our Sushi meals, and they were OUT of SAPPOROS and the Hot Sake was an outrageous 15$. Ok, so we order a different beer and an appetizer, hoping things will get better. Unfortunately, they did not. They were out of eel for the sushi. Our main course came before the appetizer was even taken away. We made the best of our Valentines Day, but will never return here again."

"Having worked for a Japanese company, I am picky about my Japanese spots. This place is good for the money and not crazy overpriced. Their sushi rolls are on the inventive side but the ingredients are good. You get more than what you pay for. Expansive space (compared to the tight spaces that is typical of NYC restos) High ceiling and well-lit, it makes you forget that there are no windows. But the piping hot ramen makes you forget it. Solid homestyle cooking; good value. Excellent service."
