We brought friends from NYC and they had the time of their life. The food was wonderful and served beautifullly. Everything the four of us ordered was very very good and our waiter added to the fun. We had a quiet table in the back so we were able to have conversation and hear what each of us had to contgribute. A total successful dining outn in Phx experiance. Stuart Steckler

New Mexican Enchiladas and the New Mexican Platter were both outstanding! Both the red & green sauces were excellent with the green quite a bit hotter/spicer. You'll need a to-go box for the platter meal. Wine by the glass at lunch was a nice surprise at $5. Terrific menu of options and prices.

This restaurant always has great food and we enjoy eating here. Thing to note. They do not take reservations under parties of four. Also, online reservations are given low priority, so if you want a specific table or area it is advised to call directly and make your reservation.

We have eaten here 3 times, always with a very positive review, but not this time. The restaurant was full. Though it is a small establishment, I only saw one sever in the entire restraint. She was very slow. We ordered drinks that took too long to arrive. We ordered an appetizer. The appetizer came and was gone before she came back to take our dinner order. We were seated 1 hour before she took our order. She did not know the menu enough to explain the difference between two similar items. She just shrugged it off and laughed. I hope this was just an isolated incident, due to the holidays. We love this restaurant and where excited to share it with our out of town guests. This was not the experience we wanted to show.

Rokerij is a place to savor every bite slowly, actually hear and enjoy the company of friends and look fab in the mood lighting. Real New Mexico style preparation of easy to identify ingredients and sizable portions. The soup was beyond excellent, pork melts soon after passing your lips and the chicken was moist and tender. Service was leisurely so don't expect to eat and run.

The food and wine were delicious and service was impeccable. Portions were very big, so we could've ordered less, but everything was great tasting. We sat next to the fireplace which created a great ambiance. We were celebrating a birthday and ordered a flourless chocolate cake with ice cream. The cake was frozen, so it was more like fudge. Would have been better defrosted.

Rockerij was a really good time! Despite the 'complimentary' valet and the impossibility of figuring out if you are in the Rockerij, Richardsons or whether you are supposed to be upstairs or downstairs...or whatever, and the being largely ignored by wait staff as they walk. The food was phenomenal, our table had the Burger Trio, two pizzas, and the New Mexican Enchiladas. Although the enchiladas were too hot for my friend, who grew up here, she admitted that they were excellent, just her palette was not ready for it (she's been in the middle east for a few years). I wish there were a better beer selection, and our waitress wasn't very engaging or seemingly interested in our table.

We had a very nice time at Rokerij, the most remarkable feature was that, upon arrival at 6 pm, the restaurant was extremely busy. I gave my name to the reception desk and we were seated immediately. Honestly, I expected to be sent to the lounge for a 20 minute wait. With that very pleasant start, the evening went extremely well. We never were rushed and left knowing that we will certainly come back.

We were a group of five, each ordering different entrees. Everyone was very pleased with their meal and dining experience. Dishes ordered were calamari, sea bass(2), veal chop and rack of lamb. The rack was the best I have ever enjoyed, tasty and juicy. I also tried the caprese salad. Great fresh made mozzarella cheese, thick ripe tomatoes and delicious basel drizzled with olive oil.

We had a party of 11 booked for Sunday brunch. They called an hour before our reservation to ask if we would mind sitting in their private dining room since we had a larger party, which was perfect! My parents were there to meet my fiance's parents for the first time, and the intimate and quiet room with the big table was the best set-up we could have asked for. My fiance and I had eaten at Rokerij a few times before but this was the first time for the rest of our party. The food was delicious and unique, as usual. Everyone loved their meals and raved about the food. And our service was GREAT! They even got someone to fix the TV in the private room so that we could have the Cardinals game on during our brunch. Above and beyond.

The Rokerij came highly recommended by a close friend. While the entrees were generous and looked great, the food was just average and maybe less than average for the price. No stand out flavors, a bit dry, and one entree over sauced. What else can I say. We were just hoping for something special and ended up just disappointed.

Haven't eaten at the Rokerij in about a year - a pleasant experience then, but a disappointing visit this time. The appetizer was meager given the price, the entrees were ok, but nothing exceptional. No comments about how good the food was across the board. The dessert actually was very good, but too little too late. I would think twice before going back, especially considering all of the great choices in the Phoenix/Scottsdale metro area.

Wonderful as always. The Rokerij Filet with Dungenous Crab and Jalapeño Hollandaise sauce is by far my favorite, but everyone in our party loved what they ordered. Even the side vegetables are fantastic. Following it up with Creme Brule rounded out the meal perfectly! My ONLY criticism was that two of our 4 creme brule's came out before the other two, and the last two appeared to have just been torched, as the dishes were still warm and neither had that solid top that creme brule is known for...it was kind of "mushy" instead of cracking with your spoon. However, the first two that came out were perfect and the creme itself was delicious! If you're looking for a romantic nook, be sure to reserve a table in the downstairs bar/loun
