Authentic Mexican fare, great drinks, and extensive amounts of tequila have never looked so good

I was not satisfied with the food,
I also feel the food was over price. I had the burrito bowl and I think Chipotle burrito bowl is much better and cheaper. Sorry :("

Menu has been totally revamped and
the dish that I used to get was not on the menu. I believe it was called the Relenos? It was stuffed jumbo shrimp. I opted for another shrimp dish and I was not pleased. The calamari was the worst calamari i have ever had. the stuffed peppers had No spice to them at all. I will not be dining here again."

We were in a party of four - the
food was very, very good. It came in a timely manner and was hot and fresh. Your bar seemed to be a bit behind- we waited a LONG time for our cocktails. The server said he were running low on glasses:(. He also told us the house margarita wasn't very good - we should go with the "Special" margarita. It was okay, but way too expensive. Our bar bill far out-priced our food bill and we only had 2 drinks each."

While the food was good (not
great), the restaurant is getting a little tired. My chair was so wobbly that I had to switch it with a chair frmo another table. This location has gone downhill since it opened, Our server, on the other hand, was wonderful. I was disappointed that we were not permitted to pay with gift cards because we had taken advantage of the Sunday night special. Evidently, there is a policy that you can't do both, but that policy is not on the specials menu (or anywhere else that I could find)"

We eat at Rojo a few times a month
but this last visit was a disappointment. For a place that was not busy service was slow even the guy that made guacamole table side took forever and over salted it. I witness the wait staff having more personal conversations time then time spent servicing their customers. We eat out a lot and I don't appreciate when you have to wonder where your server went or have to nap someone else to please find them. Again if the place was busy I would of understood."

This place is not the best place
for mexican food. The food was edible, but not good. Very bland with no spice or flavor. The best thing I had was the cocktail, which was full of flavor. I enjoyed my time at the restaurant, but it will be a place i will never visit again."

The open table seating was great.
While shopping in the area, I did a search for restaurants. I had come across the name Rojo several times reading magazines and reviews. I only had a table for 2 as this appeared to be a happening spot with several large groups. It took awhile to be greeted at my table for drinks. No alcoholic beverages were purchased. Lemons had to be requested at least 4 times for my ice tea. The waitress recommended the Margherita Chicken (I believe this was the dish) over the Chimichanga. The Margherita Chicken was totally bland with no flavor whatsoever. I asked for limes to give the chicken taste but this didn't work either. My dog ended up eating the chicken. -sorry but true -"

The food was great with reasonable
prices! The atmosphere was very inviting. This was my first time at Rojo. I will be back!"

This is one of my favorite mexican
restauraunts. The food is fresh and the service is great!"

We made reservations for New
Year's Eve for an early dinner with our 14 year old son. We got seated right away, which was nice. The guacamole that is made table side was excellent. The calamari was horrible, very weird texture. The steak and chicken fajitas were just OK. Nothing great. The steak was grisly and over-cooked. We've been there before and the food is usually good, but it was not on New Year's Eve. We may give it another chance."

It was not my first time in Rojo
and I m very pleased with food, as usually. I cannot say the same about service. This time it was very slowly, non attentive and very forgetful. It was look like the server either never work in this field before or just filled the spot because of busy night. Other than this its no complain."

Our server was inexperienced but
friendly and tried his best. The bar was poorly managed: it took no less than 25 minutes to get our first drink order. A Margarita in a Mexican restaurant should not be a challenge. Our appetizer arrived, but we were out of chips for the guacamole and had no silverware. I got the chips myself. We wanted to have a draught beer and were told the draught was inoperable, but then I saw one go by with another server, so eventually I got one. We'll try this place once more; hopefully they've just opened and haven't figured it all out yet. Good food, but inexcusable service."

Everything was great but the music
at the bar was loud & not relevant to the restaurant theme. I've eaten in the main dining room before & enjoyed that more. However the food & service were both great!"

Food was blah! My husbands dish
was not very hot. I havent been there in a ear but it appears they have changed their menu and prices. It use to be a hgh end Mexican restaurant now it is nothing special. Salsa tasted like tomatoe sauce no flavors. They use to have little ottles of spices to add to salsa to get the degree of hotness that you desired. They no longer have it just a dish of sauce. Service was good"

I've eaten at a couple different
Rojo's and they've all been very good. I had lunch here the other day and was not disappointed. Quick service and excellent food. Considering the location, Rojo did an excellent job with the patio."

My husband and I had a date night
so I made reservations for a nice quiet dinner. Our service was horrible. We received chips and salsa but nothing to drink. We ordered an appetizer and received it and ate it and still nothing to drink (we asked for water repeatedly). We then ordered dinner and waited another 10 minutes and requested water again. We were then told that they have been out of glasses (as we saw other tables receiving their drinks). We literally sat there for 45 minutes without a drop to drink. Our waitress also came back to the table and told us that the item my husband ordered was completely out. He had to re-order. Lastly, I ordered the steak fajitas and received a ton of peppers but only about 6 pieces of steak."

The service was very good our
waitress was excellent, need improvements on the salsa it needs to be more traditional like a mild a medium and hot adding the bottled sauce to make it hotter or spicier does not work for most people i know that have been there, the fish and lobster tacos need more fish and lobster even if you raise the price a little. jerry"

The food at Rojo was excellent and
great value. Service was great too!"
Dined on 9/2/2013
Was very good. However, the server
could have been a little more attentive. We asked for more Salsa and she forgot it. We asked for the check and we waited for at least 10 minutes before she returned with it. She was nice but very slow and hardly returned to the table."

The table side Guac was the
highlight of the meal, but the rest of the food was very good as well. A tad too cheesy, but still tasted good."

Absolutely LOVE Rojo....the food
and service was wonderful as usual, however the air conditioning must have been broken. We met friends for dinner and it was so uncomfortably hot we had to cut our time together short. It was way too hot! My husband dressed up and he was even more uncomfortable than I was. It truly ruined our evening. :("
Dined on 7/6/2013
Our service was horrible. After
waiting 15 minutes for drinks, we waited another 30 minutes for our server to return to take our dinner order. We finally had to walk out and go to Black Rock next door."
Dined on 6/29/2013
Rojo has the quality that we have
come to expect from Andiamo's but with a mexican flare. The guacamole made table side is great and while their red sauce has an italian sweetness to it, it is a nice balance with the heat you can get from that sauces at the table. Tacos el pastore are reminicent of the street tacos of mexico but definately add the third as they are a little small."

Went for a retirement party and
the food, drinks and service were out of this world!"
Dined on 6/9/2013
This was a big letdown for us.
From the outside, it looks like a great, trendy upscale restaurant. On the inside, the only upscale thing was the process on the menu. None of thefood we ordered tasted authentic. We had queso fundido that looked -and tasted - like Velveeta cheese dip, and the chimichangas had big chunks of undercooked onion and bell pepper. We won't be trying Rojo again any time soon."
Dined on 5/12/2013
Once again a good meal, good
service and nice atmosphere! Thank you Rojo."
Dined on 5/11/2013
Food and service were great! A
little loud, but that is to be expected on a Saturday evening."
Dined on 12/14/2012
We love Rojo! The table side guac
is fantastic! We love it for a group or just for date night!"
Dined on 1/25/2013
I've eaten at Rojo several times
and I never leave disappointed. The food is very good, and I love the guacamole that is made fresh table side. I highly recommend this restaurant."

Everything was fine, service was
average, food was average, it is a typical chain restaurant"

Dined at 5:30pm on a Friday night.
Sat promptly, friendly staff, great food! The whole family loved Rojo!! Can't wait to go back!"

The food and service were good.
The margaritas, not so much."

I was not super impressed with my
food, since this was the case, the manager came out and corrected the problems with my order and took it right off of the bill. My friend had the ribs, and although the sauce was exceptionally great I wouldn't suggest getting them, because the flavor is only there. Once through the sauce, the rib tasted like a plain chunk of beef. Service was great otherwise. The bar was a very busy place and had a great atmosphere, I'd suggest this place more for going out for drinks and appetizers with friends."

Our table was ready and waiting
for us, service and food were excellent. Great overall experience, we will be back."
