Diner Reviews
  • "Very nice restaurant with excellent food. Service was awesome, we had so much meat offered to us that we were stuffed! Salad bar has a lot of selection. The limeade with cream and fruit flavoring is very tasty!"

  • "Service, particularly the folks at the front, were terrific. Wish they'd bring out some of the better cuts of meat, though, earlier. But, overall, it was a very nice time. We'll be back."

  • "Everyone had a wonderful time and food was enjoyed by all. Everyone said they go back and eat there again."

  • "We have been to several different churriscarias (sp?) around the dfw and this one didn't impress, comparitively. The service was great, very friendly & attentive, but the food was just alright. After 1 trip to the 'salad' bar, I had tried just about everything I cared to...I'm a vegetarian, so of course I returned. My wife is the meat-eater and after trying several of the passed items, there was only 1 she cared for seconds of."

  • "It is not Fogo. Has Fogo prices. lost wait staff, dinner meats NOT all available to eat at start of dinner time at 4. We got to try 6 of the 16 meats. Too casual for the price. Will not return."
    Dined on 3/9/2014
  • "It's all you can eat...except dessert is a la carte. I love churrascurias but this was a huge disappointment. My husband and I ordered water w/lemon and received water sans lemons. The salad bar was mediocre at best, compared to Fogo de Chao, Texas de Brazil, and Rafain's. Our side items consisted of 2pcs each of fried banana, pao de quiejo, and fried polenta. We had to hunt down our waiter just to order more pao de quiejo. Then we noticed our neighbor ordered a water w/lemon...and he got water w/lemon! The gauchos weren't very consistent (we were passed by several times even though our toggle was green) and then my husband noticed all of the Caucasian patrons were getting exceptional service, while everyone else was was not."

  • "Pace yourself! The food just keep coming until you say stop. You will want to stop long before you've had a chance to taste it all."

  • "Our server Hector was great and very knowledgeable on the meats. He gave push a good tip which was to be sure and try a little bit of everything and take your time eating. The meat servers were frequently walking the floor and always smiling. The only thing negative I would have to say is that when we were leaving around 7:30 pm they started serving scallops which I wish were brought while we were still seated."

  • "Worst service I have had in a restaurant in many years"
    Dined on 3/22/2014
  • "Staffs are friendly and good service but I was disappointed by food. Poorer than other Brazilian restaurants.(yes, because their price is cheaper than other Brazilian restaurants.) I doubt if they use fresh veggies for buffet. Food was not warm enough including meats served at the table. This Brazilian restaurant is for more casual occasion, not for romantic occasion for sure."

  • "I've been to Rodizios before in SLC and I don't remember it being anything like this. The food was great, but the ambiance was so cheap. We couldn't believe we walked out of there paying $100 when it felt like we should have paid $7.99 for the Golden Corral Buffet. The food was good enough to justify a higher price tag, but we just couldn't get past the cheap surroundings."

  • "More cheesebread needs to be provided. Where's the basket? Also, meat selection wasn't up to par. Slower than necessary service. Passion fruit limeade was delicious"

  • "I was disappointed in everything from the wait even though we had a reservation to the quality of meats. Our waiter was amazing and the only part of the night that was enjoyable. Don't waste your money."

  • "I took my son to celebrate his 11th birthday and boy did we all haves great time It's nice that you don't have to wait for the meal. The meats just kept coming"

  • "For the price this is a good alternative to the larger more expensive chains. The food is good and comes out quickly. The problem is that the other service like waiting for drinks, getting clean plates (just get your own), getting your side orders, waiting for dessert and waiting for the check all take too much time. I have gone twice though and would go back just knowing these things. I've also had a company party there and that went very well."

  • "We utilized a Groupon coupon, and enjoyed the numerous options on the salad bar, and indeed had our fill of meats served Brazilian style by the wait staff. The Manager even came to the table and asked if we needed anything. The wait staff also were quite attentive to or wants. We did specifically ask if lamb was on the menue, and were brought that option within just minutes. Great place to go, centrally located, and is a great location for even a celebration of a special dinner."

  • "For the price and the Brazilian steak appeal, I much prefer Texas de Brazil. I was not impressed with the food for as much as it cost - almost $200 for 4 people. Old Warsaw would have been a much better selection. I am disappointed."

  • "The appetizer bar and meat was good and the dessert excellent. They were understaffed when we arrived but I think the waiters, bartender and meat guys worked harder than the servers I've seen anywhere in a long time!"

  • "We have been to several Brazilian steakhouses and this would definitely be one that we would go back to. But this website [Open Table] is where I made my reservation, but when we got there they were not showing one. This was made a week in advance. Thankfully they sat us anyway, right away."

  • "We were very satisfied with the salad bar, sides. The appetizers, constant influx of meats were very tasty, especially the ham and pineapple. The dessert was an incredible end to a fantastic meal. The service was too notch from the welcome through leaving the door. Could not have had a better evening."

  • "I personally enjoyed the lovely customer service from all the employee's. Everyone had a warming characteristic about themselves, especially our waiter Adam. He was very attentive, but not overbearing with it, just to get a tip. Adam genuinely enjoyed his job and that was a plus. I also enjoyed the manager coming up to my husband and I, and introducing herself ( I can not remember the managers name). Nonetheless, we dined at the Irving location, per reservation, and had no trouble at all when we arrived. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty. I enjoyed the fresh mozzarella (my favorite), as well as the pasta, fruit trays, and plenty of other options I devoured. Thanks Irving for your warm welcome on 2-15. Keep up the good work!"

  • "Texas de Brazil is good, but Rodizio is right up there with them. I recommend this place for sure."

  • "Open Table listed the restaurant as smart casual, and thus, I thought it might be a nice date night restaurant. My wife dressed nicely for the evening. I put on a button up shirt and made the effort to tuck it in. We found ourselves surrounded by other patrons in sweatpants, torn jeans, sweatshirts & T-shirts. The food was fine. Not spectacular. When combined with the ambiance, the menu didn't quite live up to the price. Just call it casual. It will set more reasonable expectations for future first time diners."

  • "First time here so we opted for the 99.00 Valentine special, had a 5pm reservation. We were seated promptly and then were told to go take our pictures/which was kind of Cheesy advert for Rodizio/. The waiter came around and he was nice and we ordered wine. Went to the buffet bar, and then the meats started coming around. Well, these guys WERE AWESOME!!! they took care of us but as we are sitting there we noticed we were getting the same meats and never were offered two or three of the other ones. We ate and were Full, when they started bringing out MORE variety of meats. For the price just felt it was kind of disappointing the vase and flowers were FAKE roses... Overall Ok but not worth the 99.00 we paid."

  • "The food selection as well as the service was wonderful. This was our first time at a Brazilian steak-house and we were amazed. The meat just kept coming and everyone was very nice. The bar area was really nice and away from the dinning area. Our wait was not long at all even though it was Valentine's day. We will definitely be returning."

  • "In fairness, before i begin, it was Valentine's night 2014. The place was fairly packed. When we arrived we were told that there were 6 people ahead of us. I mentioned we had a reservation and we were still asked to wait. Went to the bar and the service was awful at best. BUT within minutes our table was ready!! We were seated in a terrible spot but after flagging down someone (Carlos!) he encouraged us to scoot over one seat and we were more than happy. :) Carlos was excellent. He asked if we were new and explained everything in detail. When asked what he recommended he praised everything and then gave his personal favorites. The meal was an experience as are most Brazilian Steakhouses. See the rest of my review on Google!"

  • "I was really disappointed in Rodizio Grill. I took a dinner party of 6, who were all out of town business associates. When we walked in the appearance of the inside is almost like walking into a cafeteria. The salad bar was sparse and looked like it's core ingredients were from Sams Club. The meats tended to be overcooked, with very little flavor. On their website them mention a seafood option and to ask about the "daily fish selection". We were told that their fish is alway "Swhy" fish, which is Brazilian for white fish. The fish was not good. They charge $35 a plate plus drinks and deserts, which is approximately as Texas De Brazil and Boi na Braza. You would be much more satisfied choosing Texas De Brazil or Boi na Braza."

  • "For the price this is a good restaurant. We had a 7 pm reservation. The salad bar was pretty sparce by then and several dishes were empty, that was dissapointing. Our waitress was non existent for most of the meal. We had to ask the other servers for drink refills. Not sure she actually deserved the 18% gratuity unless it was divided between the other servers. The restaurant was a little too brightly lit for my taste. I know this review sounds mostly negative but overall it was enjoyable. We will be going back and giving them another try...this may gave just been an off night"

  • "This was my first time visiting this establishment. My friend and I wanted to try something new and inexpensive. Rodizio Grill did not disappoint. We actually had a great experience and my friend made a reservation that night to bring her family for Sunday lunch. The food is actually good and they have a pretty good salad bar. I know some reviewers were comparing this establishment to Texas de Brazil, but I don't think that is a fair comparison at all. The resturant was very nice inside and we went on a night when it was pretty busy, but never had to worry about the meats coming to our table. Great experience for a fun night out!"

  • "Food was actually pretty good.Besides the fact that you have to get up to get your own sides I would probably go back. I went with a groupon 2 meals for 60$ 2 drinks 1 dessert(had to pay tax on groupon) that was weird. I wouldn't pay more than that because of restraunt atmosphere. It's not a fancy place so no need to dress up,that's a plus. Waiters were really good very attentive so if price drops I'll be there again if not I'll wait for groupon."

  • "I went here with my husband and 11 year old daughter for a treat. The food was great and the service was perfect. My daughter loved the food but she likes steak. If your child is a fussy eater, then maybe not the best place for them to come. I am not sure why previous reviewers have said the service was slow, as you set the pace for the waiters to come to the table offering the meat. We will certainly be going here again."
