We sampled the Portabello Neptune appetizer and the Cream of Crab soup. Both were quite good, although the mushrooms could have exited the broiler a little sooner and the soup was more subtle than most in flavor.
We were both drawn to the Stuffed Rock Fish. Each of our sides were very well prepared and flavorful. However the over abundance of salt on the fish impacted an otherwise tasty and very approachable entre.

The food portions looked small but the presentation was great. The food was cooked very well and had a very good taste. Upon completion of the meal, the portions were spot on. Great food and a wonderful viev of the marina and bay from our window booth. I had made online reservations for a group of 12 and after all were sitting down, 4 other people joined us. I asked if we could get room in the table for them and a few seconds later she brought 4 chairs and the 4 people were enjoying the brunch with the rest of the group. This was very helpful for me, since this was a work related trip and everything went smooth. Thanks again for the great professionalism of your manager, Unfortunately I didn't get her name.

Reservations are a must but if you are a party less than 8...ya gonna wait & wait! We ate on Sat. nite - a good decision. If you are looking for the seafood experience....the buffet is not your best option. They have a limited selection menu for those who don't want the buffet, however, goodies like the "pearls" of the Chesapeake ....oysters, raw or rockafeller...not gonna happen! The brunch selections range from buffet style eggs, sausage, bacon and two styles of fried potatoes to custom made-to-order omelettes, waffles or donuts. We all ordered the same seafood platter and were extremely happy with the quality and quantity. Our waitress was just wonderful and so friendly. She brought my Mom a Hot Fudge Sundae with a candle in it to help celebrate...something that we had not even requested. We will definitely be making the trip back very soon.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AM
