RockSugar Pan Asian KitchenNothing left undoneWalking in through the entrance I felt like I was completely transported to somewhere in Asia. It was just a beautiful transformation. Then as I walked into the spacious dining room I was impressed with the decor, table setting etc. The star was the service by far...She asked us if we had food allergies, she made recommendations for my vegetarian friend, and she was just pleasant and thoughtful. The rest of the people that helped were also really 1st class. My iced tea was always full, plates were taken away with ease and promptly but not too soon. The food wasn't amazing but it was good. It was a little loud on the patio but it was a good environment and the wait staff was very responsive and helpful with menu choices and service. The food was very good, but did come out fast, so not much time between dishes. Grand entrence, fun bar area and large indoor outdoor seating. The service was excellent. The server explained that the meals were served "family style" and suggested that we order an appetizer and at least a couple of entrees. We took her suggestion and there was plenty of food for the three of us. In addition to excellent service and food, the ambience was very terrific. The only reason why service gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that there was a bartender in training on Tuesday night and drinks took way too long to get to us, and given it was a quiet night, the food took a little longer than expected even though I had given them a heads up to just replenish food as necessary. All items on happy hour menu are delicious, cocktails and appetizers. Recommend: the potstickers, crispy vegetable and imperial rolls, chicken and mushroom lettuce wraps, chicken satay, and chicken crispy samosas.
