"I have been a customer of Rock'n Fish dating back to their first location in Manhattan Beach. When the location in LA Live opened up I was happy to have a "go-to" restaurant close to my new loft. The food and service at these locations were excellent. The "DNA" of the original restaurant carried over. Now that I reside in SOuth Orange County the Laguna location would be convenient. That being said, I was less than impressed with the quality of the food at this location. The "Bones" dish was significantly over marinated to the point that the meat was completely broken down and mushy. A complete and total disappointment from a former "goto" restaurant."

"Generous and tasty crab and shrimp louie. Best grilled artichoke in Orange County. Speaking to the manager, Ricardo, is like running into an old friend. He always makes us feel welcomed. Waitress, Gina, has a beautiful smile and gives you just enough attention."

"This was our second visit to the restaurant. Our server told us about the Halibut special and i decided to order it. It was very fresh and tasty, but my bad... I forgot to ask the price and was extremely discouraged when I saw it was $35. Had I known that, I would have ordered something else. Not revealing the price when suggesting it should have tipped me off that it would be outrageous."

"Very nice for first visit. Food was very good, spicy gumbo and seafood jambalaya was rich and tasty. Lots of local brewed beer. Will try the fish next time. Wait service was friendly and pleasant. We look forward to returning."

"We enjoyed a nice birthday celebration when we took our good friends there recently. My Macademia-crusted Mahi Mahi was excellent, served on a bed of spinach with a side of sateed vegetables. The English bread pudding for dessert is really outstanding. Located across the street from Hotel Laguna, there is a view of the ocean, which always sets a nice tone. The service was friendly and efficient. The location is right down town; we will be back. By the way, Rock N' Fish has nice lunch specials which are really economical, yet tasty, and include a glass of vino."
