Smaller restaurant than we thought but very good food. We started off with the buffalo beer battered bacon and OMG, was that delicious!! We then went onto the burgers. The black angus patty is exactly what a burger should taste like. I had just the plain angus burger which was cooked to perfection. My husband had the kobe beef burger and he said it was excellent. When in the area, would definitely go back here. The bacon alone was worth the trip.

I had the Rockit burger with wagyu kobe beef, melted brie, fried shallots, medjool date aioli on a red onion brioche bun with truffle fries. It was good, but the wagyu was wasted in a burger and the truffle oil was hardly noticeable on the fries. The ambiance was OK and the service very good. I'd go back but I would'nt spend $19 on this burger. I'd opt for one of the less expensive items on the menu. They have a pretty good selection of beers as well.

One guy took our drink and appetizer order. Another guy came by and we told him someone else took our drink order. Those came after some time. we waiter anxiously for our truffle fries and we thought they would be delectable. after some time, i asked our second waiter as the first guy disappeared and he said the food is on its way out did we still want them. apparently order never was placed. we said no but were disappointed. he should have said we will bring them out , unforunately late but at no charge. then we would have been happy. that's not great service.

I went to Rockfit Burger Bar for the first time prior to a Cubs game. It is perfect since it is higher end food then most of the other places around Wrigley and I was able to make a reservation. Repeat visit and was excited to come back. Was dining prior to a Brewers/Cubs game at Wrigley field on Labor Day. BBQ pork nachos were very good. LOVED the chips. Would have been even better with shredded and melted cheese as opposed to the orange gelatinous goo. "Hottie" burger wasn't hot... neither heat nor spice. Disappointed on both fronts. Ordered the burger medium rare (which was good) but the cheese was barely melted. Also needed more of the ghost pepper mayo because the bun was a little dry. Fries were good. My wife was pleased with her Farmhouse burger and fries.

My husband and son both foolishly had the classic black angus burger (son had his with cheese), which came w/ reg. fries. Husband wishes he'd substituted any of the specialty fries instead - they offer seasoned curly, sweet potato, & waffle, as well as onion rings. My Rockit bBurger, made w/ kobe beef, brie, fried shallots, & date aioli, was delicious (next time I will ask for 1/2 as much cheese but 2x as much shallots & aioli). , Substituted s p fries for the truffle fries it was supposed to come w/, & they were great. Server (Kylie), was great, & even brought another table water for their dog (eating outside), unasked. Pricy for beers (tried Akita Purple Haze, also delicious) and burgers, but then supposed to be "gourmet". Will go back.

The Apple Bacon Burger and sweet potato fries were one of the best meals I have ever had. The brownie and ice cream I had for dessert was tops. Everything is prepared fresh on site. I have eaten all over the world and this was by far a top world class meal. The restaurant is casual but the food preparation and quality is first class. I look forward to dining there again soon.

We decided to give Rockit a try for the Blake Shelton concert on 7/19. They were one of the few places that took a reservation so I booked us for 630pm. We were running a few minutes late but when we got there they told us how much they appreciated me calling to let them know & took us right to our table. They said I would be surprised how many don't call. It was a great spot with an awesome view of the street and Wrigley. Service was terrific. Our drink order was taken right away and was on our table shortly thereafter. The burgers were very good. We both ordered the Rockit Cheese Burger which is a double. Portion size was perfect for me, probably a bit much for my date. Prices very reasonable. I'd go back!

Very quickly: The food was really good, the waitstaff service was good, the hosting service stunk. They had available tables outside to seat customers, but refused our request to sit outside where it was quieter. They claimed that those tables were reserved already, even though we had reservations. The burgers were good, but not good enough to return, especially after the "meh" service.

Our expectations as to the service were low, as this was before the Billy Joel concert at Wrigley Field. However, the service can only be described as terrible. No refills on drinks, the waiter never checked back regarding either the quality of the food or if desert was desired. And it took about half an hour to get the check. Rockit needs to be better equipped to serve larger crowds before events at Wrigley.

I have been coming to the Rockit Burger Bar before Cub games for a few years now. I brought some friend for the first time and I may not be back. WE were late so lost our table but there was plenty of room at the bar. We sat down and ordered a round. The bartender had an attitude from the start. Some how a glass was broken behind the bar and his reaction was terrible. He started slamming stuff and mildly ranting about this and that. He completely ignored some people at the end of the bar. Finally another bartender came and she took our food order and after a pretty long wait we were served our lunch. The food was good but the service was bad.

Rockit is a great neighborhood spot with an interesting list of burgers. There is something for everyone. Husband loves The Hottie. We've tried most of the list and each is worthy competition to some of the best burger joints in town. Always cooked to perfection. The chopped Southwestern salad is delish. Love their Mac and cheese, especially the one with the short ribs. They have a pretty good beer list, too. Location across from Wrigley can be crowded, but once the game starts it's perfect. Fantastic sidewalk area for al fresco dining. Perfect spot during concerts at Wrigley. You can get dinner and a concert.

The selection of IPA beers is great! Burgers come in all form of ingredients...even for the vegetarian at our table. My Rockit-named burger was Kobe and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Also, the bbq pork nachos melted in my mouth! A must-visit when in Chicago...it's a block off the 'L'.

Get here by 5:30 or 5:45, get a nice table outside, have one of a variety of interesting burger combinations (e.g., venison burger with fois gras) and be to the Cubs 7:05 evening game with time to spare. Nothing like a rare burger with a toasted bun. You can add what ever you can imagine to the burger one can imagine. The beef was tender, juicy and had a really good flavor. We had onion rings first which proved to be a good choice also. Usually I'm not a fan of a heavier battered onion ring but they were an exception! Get there on the earlier side if you'd rather a quieter experience.

We stopped in for brunch before heading over to Wrigley Field for a Cubs game on Sunday. We had burgers and Bloody Mary's. Both were fantastic! I had the mushroom truffle burger, my husband had the venison foie gras burger. Both were delicious, but the better of the two in our opinion was the burger with foie gras! YUM! And the spice bar for the Bloody Mary's was great; we both took advantage and embelished our drinks just the way we like them. Rockits was packed before the game, but the staff was friendly and efficient and got us in and out in a timely manner without making us feel rushed. We will definitely stop in again before or after a game.

I can't handle red meat, so I tried the turkey burger here. Absolutely terrible. Undercooked, mushy, and no flavor.
