  • Private Party Facilities: Built in the early 1900’s as a lamp factory, Rockit Bar & Grill exudes a raw, warehouse feel bursting with 21st century style. The building is one of the few original loft spaces in the burgeoning River North neighborhood; it is a 12,000-square foot sprawl with 14-foot ceilings on the first level and 20-foot ceilings on the second level, the latter of which boasts a front-to-back skylight. A grand staircase elegantly connects the levels, and Berkus’ true genius comes to life as he blends old and new elements: “The space is an evolution of ideas and materials that is the product of many shared ideas. It is architecturally intriguing, with the existing ceiling heights and original industrial details left intact. The design combines modern elements with raw materials to create an area that has an industrial edge, a high comfort level, and custom installations of a variety never seen or experienced before,” explains Berkus.
