  • "I've been here both for dinner and brunch. The food is very good, but I do find something a bit strange. Coffeemate. I can only ask why they would opt to use Coffeemate over half & half for the coffee they serve. When it comes to brunch, coffee can make or break a meal. Please consider a better quality of coffee and real cream. Then I'd probably have give *****."

  • "As soon as I was seated the server told me that the table hand another reservation in 90 minutes. In her attempt to make sure that we were done with our meal in enough time we never got drinks, she never checked back after our meals were served and brought the check without asking if we wanted dessert or anything else. My meal was overcooked and cold. Had she come back to check I would have sent it back."

  • "When there for a date night with my wife. Everyone was really nice and friendly. The food was very good and you get a good amount. The kitchen could of been a little quicker, but it was nice they weren't bringing the meal out, before we were done with our appetizer. Overall it was a very good experience and we will be back again. Don't be worried about the price, it is in line with most of the chain restaurants."

  • "The service was very slow and some of the things we asked for were never brought to the table such as creamers, spoons and extra napkins. The waitress was very friendly and apologetic. She was aware that things weren't going very smoothly. One person's soup had to be sent back because it was cold and the potatoes were not fully cooked. We've been here before and had a much better experience. I think maybe it was just an off day."

  • "The food quality was excellent. The male server was not very pleasant. No polish. Was not on top of his tables. Water glass took extra long for refills. Server dropped apple sauce on son's trouser clearing away his plate. No apologizes. I had to ask the server what desserts they had on menu, he said, "I'll get the tray." The key lime pie was a larger size than what was served to us. Size was about 25% smaller. "false advertising"!"

  • "A friend told me how wonderful the Sunday brunch and I must say that Rock Bass has now become one of our favorites. The food ,prices,and friendliness make this restaurant the best. The portions are very generous and to give a sticky bun (delicious) with each order just adds something special to the meal. I recommend this restaurant for all ages."

  • "RockBass has a magnificent view of the river with good service. But, that's where it ends. This faux seafood emporium serves substandard seafood at high prices. The fried shrimp I had were already cooked, dipped in patter and fried. For land-locked foodies who do not know the difference, it does not matter. But for those of us who knows the taste of properly prepared seafood, the same quality, or better, can be found at Long John Silvers. There is an arrogance that meets you at the door that is also off-putting, If you want a nice view of the river, go next door and enjoy the bar food that, at times, can be pretty good. Otherwise, save your money and time, and go to Baltimore where good seafood abounds."

  • "At arrival, having an Open Table reservation, table was waiting for us on arrival overlooking the water. Menu is extensive and hard to choose with all the good options. I had one of the fresh catches, Mahi Mahi, and my wife had the Chesapeake chicken. Both very good choices. We are earlier eaters and went during happy hour, which extends to the tables, and helped save with costs. Looking forward to our next visit."

  • "I can't remember our waitreesses name but she was great. Could never fingure out when a waitresses tips are determined by her service some of them should be working for a tree trimmer but our waitress was incredible and I showed her that by tipping her well. She did a great job. It was a little noisier than I like but not unbearable for the lay out of the restaurant."

  • "The beautiful view of the river just below us and the city skyline makes for a special visit. Excellent service allowed us to enjoy the shrimp chicken cobb salad and the grilled chicken salad over a three hour visit. Fortunately no one was waiting for a table and we completely lost track of the time. We have both been for special occasions with our husbands as well as with friends. The brunch is the most elegant and affordable meal in the area."

  • "Took the family on Sunday evening to celebrate a couple of birthdays. We had a timeline due to some flights and the team from Rockbass made it very easy. Great food, while the majority of us had sandwiches, they were well presented, hot and well proportioned. Overall, a very good value. I look forward to going back to try more of the fresh seafood items."

  • "The view of the river is beautiful and we sat right at the window in a spacious booth. Lots of seafood options, covering every price range, plus sandwiches and salads. Shrimp pesto flatbread appetizer seemed a little expensive for an appetizer but it's about 3 feet long and amazing! Could be shared by 2 people as a meal easily. Fish tacos were great and flavorful, and grilled! So many places fry the fish which ruins the flavor. Balsamic chicken was also tasty."

  • "So many seafood options! Its tough to find restaurants that offer other than the standard beef, pork, chicken fare, especially in my home town. Lighter menus and a "custom order" offer are not the norm in our hurry up world. The cookie cutter feel of other seafood/Italian chains was not present. We were not rushed, enjoyed a personable wait staff, and had a great meal with options from bunch to entrees, and lighter meals to full course dinners. Thanks"

  • "My husband and I ate here for Valentine's Day. It was his first time, although I had been here before for a Sunday Brunch. We had the Ahi Tuna as an appetizer, which was excellent. We both had the Monkfish, which came with risotto. We both added a side of Crab Imperial. I would have preferred my risotto to be a little more tender, but overall the meal was good. We will definitely come back."

  • "Arrived 10 minutes before the reservation I made a month earlier for a window table. When we arrived , the manager on duty asked if we would be done eating in an hour- he could give us a window table if we could eat in an hour. I found that extremely rude and it really set the tone for a not so enjoyable meal. We felt rushed - even though I reserved a table like this over one month ago. Broccoli came out cold and barely cooked, grouper was slightly overcooked but the rest was good. I usually have no complaints for this venue but this was an exception."
