It cost 160 (with the tip) for lunch at a cafe. We had a burger and a salad with a drink each and we shared an app. Thats over the top pricing even for touristy midtown. That alone makes it a desirable place to have brunch, lunch or dinner. The service is wonderful, and the food is surprisingly good. It is just a shame that there aren't more vegetarian-friendly items on the menu. We had reservations and arrived a little early, they were very accommodating. We requested a window seat and that is what they gave us. We had seats directly on the ice skating rink. It was amazing to watch the ice skaters while we ate delicious food. The filet was excellent and the beans and sausage was amazing. Would definitely go back!!! We went with the Dine Skate promotion, which included our 3 course meal and VIP tickets for skating at the Rockefeller rink. This was a great decision and well worth the price paid. Right from arrival, we were met with good service (not great- but good). The price fixed Dine Skate menu was great, with plenty of options, and everything tasted great (and came out in a timely manner.) The atmosphere was fantastic, quiet and romantic, with a beautiful view of the rink. Mmmmm...3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat choice for business lunchThis is such a perfect place to have a business lunch with out-of-town folks who want to experience Rockefeller Plaza and the skating rink, etc. The service is excellent -- Attentive without being intrusive, and it's quiet enough to talk but noisy enough to not feel self-conscious of every word you say. We both had the Chicken Paillard and it was simple but delicious with a generous portion.
