The Rock Bottom Brewery is right across the street from the 5th Avenue Theatre so we chose it before a performance. We had drinks and appetizers. Our favorite appetizer was the egg rolls, but we also had chicken and nachos with a cheese dip. We did not like the cheese dip at all, but we did like the ranch dressing. We would go again because of the location, but not for the food. The prices were moderate and the atmosphere energetic. It was a fun place to go and we might go again.

We were a luncheon group of seven with reservations made through Open Table. We were seated promptly and our drink orders came quickly. Our food orders were perfectly plated and tasty. And the Seahawks won! Great visit. We go to RB frequently when attending the 5th Avenue.

I'd imagine that a good portion of Rock Bottom's customers are pre- or post-theater, with the 5th Ave theater right across the street. Indeed, that's why we went last week. We came early for our reservation (which we found was not needed) and were seated immediately. We waited a few more minutes than I would prefer before our server came out for our drink order. He seemed harried - there was a table of about two dozen people in the middle of the large room competing for his attention. The food was good (not amazing, but better than standard pub fare and a wide variety of choices), the beers were on point. The donut holes were a great end, and we had plenty of time to catch our show. We'll be back.

Oh my, the special Rocktober sausage platters (there are three to choose from)YUM! On this visit to Rock Bottom I had two dear friends with me, one of them is a food snob for sure. I expected him to complain about the food and I got exactly the opposite feedback. He was over the moon about The German. He loved all of the sausages, and REALLY LOVED the sauerkraut mashed potatoes...exhale. :) I loved my German too. As always, Rock Bottom worked with me and my special diet requests without batting an eye. Our server was wonderful. I'm a complicated ordered and so is the other friend who was with me(the snob ordered with no substitutions) and our food came out as ordered BIG BONUS POINTS! Rocktober platters - to die for!

My friend and I enjoy meeting at Rock Bottom before we go to a matinee at The 5th Ave. Theatre. The food is good, and the servers are friendly and work fast. We met our son and daughter-in-law here for dinner before our 5th Avenue show. Our meals (2 entree salads and 2 Octoberfest sausage specials) were quite good, as was the beer. Complimentary ice cream desserts for theater-goers was a nice touch and will make it even more likely we will return next show. Dinner here enhanced our evening. We look forward to coming again. Only small complaint: our server disappeared for long stretches. However, I don't know how many tables she was serving.

My friends and I choose this place because it was right across the street from 5th Ave Theater and we were going to a show. Neither of them have food allergies and really enjoyed a vast selection. I asked for the gluten free menu, the server smiled, reached into his side pocket and handed me a laminated card that was about 3" wide by 7" long. The first few items on the list were condiments, followed by five salads and three entrees, all but one having the phrase, "no bread, choose different dressing, omit rice, etc". The only entree item on their menu that did not have gluten containing ingredients was their Waldorf salad. It was a good riff on a classic. It had grilled, shredded chicken, a balsamic dressing, grapes, goat cheese, Yum.

The food was better than I remember and he loved the beer sampler. My leftovers were even amazing I wanted more once I finished those at home. Definetely a great find.

Second time I've been to Rock Bottom. First time I had the Lobster and Shrimp Enchiladas, which were really tasty. This time I had the Bison Burger (seasonal menu item). Bison was cooked perfectly. Only reason I'm staying in 3 star range was due to service. Our waitress was a little stand offish, didn't suggest anything as far as drink, which I come to expect in a craft brew establishment. Had to ask for the chipotle mayo that was supposed to be included with the Bison Burger (then it took a long time for a little cup of the mayo to arrive). Drink ran out well before waitress came back by for a refill, and by then I was ready to go. I'd come back, mainly because the beer is good and the food is pretty tasty as well.

Rock Bottom Brewery in Seattle has been a favorite of mine for decades. Good to take a client for lunch, to celebrate a co-worker's birthday, or a date dinner, etc. Food is excellent with quite a variety. Servers are excellent, always. If eating inside, being able to watch a Mariner game on 1 of their many TVs is a great additional perk. The place always feels clean and well taken care of.

My wife and I ate here before a show at Benaroya Hall (just down the road...) The service was fantastic and our server was attentive without being overly present. She made great recommendations as well. The food was well prepared - simple but tasty. The menu has a good selection for just about any kind of flavor you are looking for. And the food is not as fried / battered / buttered as you might expect from a brew pub restaurant. The drink menu was great and had a selection everyone can appreciate. We will definitely return soon!

There were 4 in our party, I made the reservation online with Open Table. When we arrived we were seated immediately. Our waiter was awesome! We all loved the dinners we ordered. I had the pulled pork sandwich with the apple coleslaw. Love that you put it ON the sandwich, which is how I learned to eat that type of sandwich. We shared 2 chocolate chip cookie desserts which were really delicious! the house made cookies made the sandwich! We were going to the 5th Ave. theater after dinner and had no problem with time. We enjoyed our dinner without being rushed. We will be back in Oct. before the show Kinky Boots.

Thought we'd grab a bite before going to 5th Avenue, as we always do. We rarely go to the Rock Bottom, but it's usually not due to service. Was hoping we could sit outside, but the weather wasn't that great. This time, the service was terrible. Our waiter never checked to see if we needed anything. We always had to ask him. This included silverware, pepper for our salads, spices and grated cheese for our pizza, water refills, etc.. The food was actually pretty good. They just need to pay more attention to their customers. If we had ever seen a manager around, we would have said something to him.
