  • "Harboring a craving for some good Mexican food, we ventured to Rocco's Tacos on Clematis Street in Downtown West Palm Beach and were not disappointed. The chips and salsa were good and the made-at-your-table guacamole is suburb. We ordered a pitcher of sangria and it was very good, as were the wet burritos. As dessert connoisseurs, we found the tres leches cake, flan and churros excellent - and chocolate sauce dribbled over the churros is among the best chocolate we've ever had."

  • "Great local eat. Enjoyed the ambience, energy and service. Patio was lively. Nachos, salsa and guacamole were made fresh. Probably one of the best Mexican restaurants I have visited. Great job Rocco!"

  • "Not for those wishing for a "quiet, romantic dinner"...BUT a perfect spot for happy hour and larger groups. A good time was had by all!"

  • "Always have a great meal at Rocco's. Taco Tuesday is fun and delicious!"

  • "Our server was attentive (but not over bearing) and was very polite. Refilled our drinks automatically & had no problem bringing anything we needed. We asked for medium guacamole but it was not spicy when they brought it, so he got jalapenos so we could spice it to our liking! I had the grilled steak with smoky chipotle cream, sweet potato & spinach. TO DIE FOR! My picky son had the child's quesadilla and this is now his favorite restaurant. We had a table right near the entrance & it was raining so there were alot of people there. There should be more separation between waiting & eating guests. A guy almost elbowed me in my face as he was waiting for a table. They had a covered canopy where they could have gathered."

  • "Taco Tuesday at Rocco's Tacos is definitely a more crowded scene than on most other nights, but if you are a taco lover I recommend the experience. For ~$15, you get bottomless tacos from their menu. I tried six different tacos that night, enjoying them all but my three favorites were the spicy ground beef, mushroom, and shrimp tacos. Chips and fresh guacamole made table-side and one large signature margarita rounded out the meal. Excellent."

  • "I ordered the tacos, which seem to be the main focus here. They have many different choices, both with innovative ingredients and traditional (chicken, beef, fish). They offer 3 choices for shells: flour, soft corn, and hard corn. The pitcher of margaritas was good and inexpensive. We also had the table-side guacamole. Contrary to other reviews we did get a booth (without even asking), but we also had 5 in our party. Very good food and reasonably priced. Perfect for a casual dinner."

  • "Love Roccos! BUT i have never been to this location on Clematis...was really looking forward to going i was craving their amazing food so bad. I ordered 2 very simple chicken tacos and a sangria. Food came out quick BUT COLD!!! And not the way i ordered it. I don't like to send food back and i was starving so i just ate it. Very disappointed. And halfway through my meal, my drink finally came out When i had to remind the waitress to bring it! NOT GOOD! This location needs some serious help. The place wasn't busy, there were a ton of people standing around not working so plenty of hands to help out and the experience was still pretty bad. Will NOT be going back to this location. Ill stay at the one in ft Lauderdale which is wonderful!"

  • "We are so happy that Rocco's has added brunch. Bottomless mimosas, eggs, and guacamole all in one place! Awesome!"

  • "This was my second and last time at Rocco's Tacos. To start, the chips are awful because they add "spices," which do not enhance their taste, plus they taste like flour tortilla chips, although I was told they are corn. The chicken, chorizo and fish tacos all tasted the same - bland and tasteless."

  • "You'll enjoy the food and the margaritas but if you want to actually talk to your companions find another place"

  • "This was my first time going to Rocco's. We were seated immediately when we got there to a nice comfortable table. I ordered a fish taco and a pulled chicken taco. They were the perfect size and very fresh. I have been dreaming of them ever since!"

  • "We arrived late and we couldn't call to let them know because our flight was delayed and circling. They were nearly full but were able to set us within a few minutes! The margaritas were great! The fresh guacamole was too mild for my taste, but may appeal to more that way. Vegetable enchilada were tasty. Nice meal all around!"

  • "We love the food and our servers have always been outstanding! Would highly recommend. The only debbie downer, and it's happened consistently every time we go, is the hostess. Do not expect to be greeted with warmth and don't ask for a booth. We have even tried requesting a booth when we make the reservation and we promptly and rudely "schooled" by the hostess that even when requested it's not honored. All in all this is a consistently great choice."

  • "This place is ALWAYS fun. The owner is awesome, the staff fun, and the food is great. It is ALWAYS crowded, so make reservations early. Never a problem when I book through Open Table - they seat me and my party quickly. Walk-ups don't work. It is Loud and fun, so don't expect a quiet romantic evening."

  • "Took an out of town friend who was craving Mexican. As always the table side guacamole ans margaritas were divine. Tried some new specials and they were also relish! The tortilla soup is thicker than I like but that's not what we came for! There was an event going on outside which made it loud but it was vibrant for a Saturday night! Service is always great."

  • "Hopping night spot, great service and wait staff but the food was average, not very mexican. Way more tex than mex. I ordered tamales that were just corn dough with meat on top! Food was average. If you are not that picky about your food you'll have a great time, active bar scene and great for groups. Noisy as a result."

  • "It was loud you could not hear anyone talk. They put us at a table for four and we were six larger people we were so uncomfortable. This was not okay."

  • "Had reservations for 9 and realized was going to be late. Changed them to 9:45 through open table but arrived at 9:30 so we were 15 minutes early. Hostess told us she would text us when table was ready. 1 minute later, we were sat! Very accomodating service. Extremely busy, pretty much we were dining with the people to the left and right of us because space is very limited and it is also extremely loud so you can barely hear each other. Definitely not a romantic spot since it was our anniversary, but we still had a good time. Great food for the price, drinks could be bigger. And guacomle is a must!!! Overall, it's a fun atmosphere and a great place to start your night before heading out to the clubs!"

  • "I was off Mexican for a while, but went with my husband under duress. I ordered the steak burrito, and upgraded to skirt steak. The food was delicious, the endless Margherita pitcher set the right tone and the fresh guacamole was incredible. The only reason I didn't give my food five stars was that my steak (not my husband's) was a little grisly, and could have been hotter. Now I'm insane about food temperature, so for your average person, the food was probably perfect."

  • "Loved the Food and the decor. The drinks are crazy over priced and it's very very noisy. So Happy we had a reservation with Open Table there was a line when we arrived for a "Wait" . If it's a chilly night bring a coat or sweater this location is all OPEN in front. Will be back for sure maybe Lunch when it not so loud."

  • "I was disappointed in my most recent visit. I have been there several times and loved it each time. My last trip I brought my parent to experience the usually great food and atmosphere. The guacamole was very bland and my father and I both ordered the Yucatan and the steak was very dry and tough to eat. He is a big steak guy and he didn't finish his food. For the price, the quality could have and has been so much better. I don't know if it was because there was an event happing at the end of the road and they were trying to do quick turn around seating but it was just an unpleasant experience."

  • "The tacos were very good as was the service. It is very loud however. Is located not far from the marina and the street is filled with other appealing resturants and bars. Afterwards walk to the marina to look at the mega yachts"

  • "Excellent service and tasty food at reasonable prices. Not the same as California-Mexican food, but still delicious. No cheese enchiladas on the menu, but they still can be ordered. Reservations are an excellent idea unless you enjoy waiting a long time to be seated. Who does?"

  • "I wouldn't spend New Year's Eve anywhere else. Their sangria is fabulous and love their tacos and grilled veggies. My husband likes their black beans. The guacamole is freshly made and is the best around."

  • "The place is swarming with servers, waiters and so on with not much space to manuver around. The tables are too close together so it's inconvenient to visit the washroom! I recommend that they add notes on the menu easy to what is spicy and what's not, my meal was too spicy for my taste. Small portions for a big price too."
