"For a family reunion, Rocco's was the. Place. Excellent made to order fare, reasonably priced for the size of the portions. The owner was right there overseeing the operation. We will never come to SF without a vist to Rocco's."

"Took my parents, and niece from out of town for a first time meal. Had reservations, and they seated us by the door (not good). After ordering, and getting our bread, it took a long time to get our food. 3 of us had the petrale sole, and 2 were incredibly bony. In fact, my niece had several pieces caught on her tongue. Needless to say, the meal didn't leave a great taste in our mouths. Not sure about going back."

"I had the best Chicken Parmesean EVER. The sauce was so amazing and it had lots of cheese! Plus is was sauteed, not fried.
SO YUMMY!
I ordered the side of ravioli and was not so happy with that, but I didn't realize that it was Beef and Spinach and not Cheese ravioli. But that is my own fault - I am not a fan of beef and spinach ravioli and should have asked! All though if they had used the same sauce on the ravioli that they did on the chicken, I would have eaten it anyway! Nice place!"

"Food was excellent. Wait staff was helpful and friendly including the "OWNER"...who actually chatted with us and welcomed us to dine again in the future. Minestrone was excellent and the "garlic butter' with bread excellent. hard time eating the LARGE PORTIONS when you get sides of BREAD/VEGGIES/SOUP/PASTA. only downside is NO PARKING????? ANYWHERE????? Otherwise a nice walk from Union Sq.
would dine again in a heartbeat. Service was attentive and what great energy ...! also noted a CALIFORNIA LEGISLATOR..who partakes
of this restaurant often. would recommend RESERVATIONS..!"

"Excellent Italian Food. Large Portions, authentic recipes, lots of garlic and a huge menu.
Can't believe we've never been here before. sat at the counter and watched the chefs prepare so many amazing dishes. will definitely come back. Loved it!"
