  • "Love the restaurant, been there before. Made reservations for 2pm on a Sunday for my wife's birthday, but we got there and they were closed. No idea where the mixup was, or why I was able to make a reservation for am time not open."

  • "4th time at restaurant. Wanted outside but were told all tables reserved. Inside is okay. Feels like dining at an older aunt's house. Quaint with pillows on the bench seats along window and lots of photos. Don't get me wrong, we actually enjoy it. Service was good. Wanted to order the 3 martini sampling, but were inexplicably told that the glasses were not set up for the sampling. Not sure why someone couldn't have washed six glasses?? The soup du jour (ham and bean) was top notch. Perfectly seasoned with lots of ham and nicely cooked beans. Entrees were a mixed bag. Rack of lamb special wonderful, but the Pompeii chicken overly seasoned to the point that there was no chicken flavor left. Good meal, not great, but will return."

  • "What a great little surprise in a small quaint town. Great outdoor dining overlooking a small river surrounded by trees. Food was excellent!! We had the ahi tuna and Chilean sea bass - both outstanding. We ate here prior to a jazz show at the Firehouse Cafe, just a few steps away - how convenient! After the show, we hear some great singing coming from the Robin's Nest, decided to stop in for some decadent desserts and entertainment, what a great decision!"

  • "We spent over $150 for 4 and for that I would expect better than good. But our experiance was not even good. I ordered the Brisket which should melt in your mouth if cooked correctly. My brisket was very tough. Another one of my party ordered the Veal. This dish was tasteless (including the mashed potatoes that came with it) My wife had the vegitarian mushroom platter and the portabella mushroom had the texture of styrofoam. We heard a lot about the Robins Nest and this was our first time there. I was very disapointed with the meal considering the price. Needless to say we will not go back there or recommend this place to anyone"

  • "It had been a while since we visited robin's nest but happy to say it is still a gear place especially on the terrace. Great food choices. I loved the truffle fries. I only wish they had beers on tap. "

  • "As always, the food and service at Robin's Nest was excellent. Our server was attentive without being intrusive and fulfilled our every request promptly and graciously. The fire roasted tomato ravioli was delicious and my husband really enjoyed the sesame seed crusted tuna. The NY strip steaks with Gorgonzola butter were tender and flavorful. The Bacon Bleu Cheese Fries were tasty, although I found the cheese to be quite pungent. And the desserts were to die for! It was hard to choose with all the choices available. Looking forward to our next visit! "

  • "I live in Philadelphia but whenever I visit my aunt who lives in Burlington, New Jersey we usually go to the Robin's Nest for lunch. We have never been disappointed with any meal that we have had. On our last visit we sat outside and was able to enjoy the beautiful weather. I would highly recommend the Robin's Nest to anyone who is visiting the beautiful town of Mount Holly, NJ."

  • "Dinner at Robin's Nest is always outstanding, except when they run out of New England Clam Chowder and don't realize it (server error). But the Salmon was wonderful, the Crab Risotto excellent and the salad and the other appetizers were great! You will NEVER have a mediocre meal at Robin's Nest!!!"

  • "Four people ages 20 to 60 all felt their meal (entree) was excellent. BBQ flatbread appetizer also great according to the one who devoured it, and two desserts were tasty (I don't typically order desserts). The salmon and chicken were perfectly cooked and tasty. Tried a specialty margarita and enjoyed it - wish it were bigger for $9. We ate upstairs, which surprised me for a 5pm reservation (the beginning of the dinner hours), and is a rather spacious area compared to the more intimate rooms downstairs. I prefer downstairs. Upstairs is where we celebrated our 25th anniversary with a wonderful private party for 25 people and the room felt intimate in that setting. Wait staff inconsistent in skill level. "

  • "Apricot Chocolate cake was excellent. New England Clam Chowder was tasty, thick, rich and had clams in it, but was totally lacking in clam flavor. It needed more clam juice to taste like clam chowder. My wife and I were disappointed with our entrees. The chicken tasted as if it had been precooked, then heated up when the meal was ordered with a bland sauce poured over top for both the chicken marsala and the chicken with honey, nuts and cranberries. The atmosphere was excellent but didn't make up for the entrees. At $19 per entree, I would have expected the chicken to taste as if it have been cooked when ordered and the sauce to be memorable, not bring back memories of an average diner. "

  • "My first visit to Robin's Nest was also a first date. A friend specically recommended this as a intimate venue in which to share quiet conversations. A 9PM reservation ensured that we were one of two parties in one room. After they left, I was alone with my date and has the restaurant exclusively. The food was good and the server attentive. The only negative was the staff's decision to undertake cleanimg duties near our table and that was highly annoying. Overall, the experience was enjoyable."

  • "We have often dined at Robin's Nest. It remains one of our favorites for the atmosphere, service, and food. This particular night, an added bonus was the jazz musicians playing in the next room. "

  • "This was not my first experience dining at The Robin's Nest, but it certainly won't be my last! My mother and I enjoyed a fantastic meal, all with service that was attentive but not rushed in any way. All that, plus they had a duo of jazz musicians playing who were fabulous! We enjoyed ourselves both times we've come here, and will definitely be back!"
