My sister and I come every year for the Witches Ball and we love the food at Robin's Nest. I have also been for lunch with friends many times. They have delicious food with a little twist, not just regular food you see on an everyday menu. They have excellent soups too and the desserts are to die for!

the food was just like homemade absolutely delicious.the only reason it did not get a full complement of stars is because the room we were in became very very hot by the end of our meal it was a beautiful small little room but very very hot. Otherwise a fantastic place to go eat relax and have a excellent meal. Would highly recommend this for any foodie because the entrees are unique and flavorful and cooked by a master chef

This time we brought a friend visiting from England to lunch at Robin's Nest. She totally enjoyed it and called it a GEM! Everything from the soup to the desserts was terrific. The Pumpkin Martini was a hit. We found out that they have outdoor dining as well. We live in northern NJ, but make it down for lunch as a special treat. Wish it was closer, we'd be regulars!

Ate brunch outside on a beautiful Sept day and enjoyed the view. Food was good, deserts were so delicious and large, they were easily 'splitable'. Due to a noisy group table near us, it was a little loud but I don't consider this a fault of the restaurant. Overall, staff was friendly but nothing special. We enjoyed our visit so much that I would certainly come back again.

I had the honey pecan chicken almost 17 years ago. I loved it so much we had Robins Nest cater our wedding 15 years ago with the chicken and many of our other favorites. Last nighy on our anniversary we were at the restaurant again as we have almost every year. Just love the atmosphere and the service is superb. My husband even gave me a surprise 50th birthday there. Can you tell how much we love eating at Robin's Nest.

All was going as expected, that is, a great dinning experience, until two people carried their two small, hairy dogs into the restaurant. The waitress explained that the dog owners were not supposed to bring their pets in the restaurant, but they were supposed to use a side door to enter, and be seated outside on the terrace.

We always enjoy dining at the Robin's Nest. The décor is vintage and quirky and I love checking it out. The food is always delicious. Have never had a problem here. The servers have always been friendly and helpful. Sometimes the service is a little slow but we don't come here to be rushed. It's always very enjoyable. This time my husband had the barbecued brisket which he said was very good. I had the honey pecan chicken which I love and is one of the Robin's Nest's specialties. Desserts are to die for. We'll be back!

My second visit was just as great as my first. This week I took my brother and sister-in-law for lunch for their September birthdays. We had everything from the jalapeno pierogies to cranberry shortcake for dessert and all was high quality, perfectly cooked and presented. Our waitress was as polished as the food. Can't wait to return.

A straightforward menu, and good ingredients prepared correctly make this a good choice in the Burlington area. Prices for both food and beverages were very fair. Groupons are available, but restaurant also features an economical menu for those not using coupons. A toothache prevented me from enjoying any of the delicious looking desserts. So I plan on going back again for that, and to try the pierogies.

Every visit has been consistent: really great food, excellent service, nice ambiance, and peaceful, and our visit on 8/27 2014 was no exception. On this visit I forced myself to not eat too much and leave room for desert. Because the entrees are so good, this has been a significant challenge and for once I got to pick a desert. The desert selections were all so good it was really hard to pick. Everyone in our group picked a different desert, but we did not share bites with each other because we all devoured our own selection before we could talk. Robin's Nest is always great, never had just an OK meal, always great.

A trip once again to Robin's Nest didn't disappoint us. As usual the food was great and custom made around specific changes we asked for. The changes are never a problem or additional cost here! My wife had the Caesar salad, one of her favorites. I asked they substitute Feta cheese for the Bleu lime salad, they did. For dinner we had the Pecan crusted chicken and the Pompeii chicken. I have to say that if they had left out the capellini pasta or put it on the side, the Pompeii entree would have been better. However, topped off with a fresh Peach/Blueberry cobbler for dessert made the night almost perfect. What did go over the top was an attentive yet busy waitress, Lauren. She was more than hospitable, went above and beyond. wing.

We made a reservation to have dinner before a local music event called Hollystock (like Woodstock, get it?). Our son was playing drums in one of the bands. It was a good thing we had a reservation. There were no outdoor tables left though, but I like the indoors better in this case. The place was low-key, casual mood, with a nice, quiet crowd. I ordered two appetizers, a pizza hor d'oeuvre and coconut shrimp. The shrimp was delicious and the pizza was just ok. Our son showed up and we had a very nice meal. Good place!

We always enjoy the Robins Nest. On our most recent visit, it was a beautiful summer night and we dined outdoors on the patio over looking the creek. There were ducks and geese swimming by. It was so pleasant! Since it was a Friday night, they also had a guitar player and he was very enjoyable. Food and service were terrific. One of our favorite restaurants!

This is a comfortable, perfect spot for a dinner or Sunday brunch in an underrated little area of Burlington County in Mount Holly. It's in a well located spot, right on one of the main corners in town and which has an adequately sized parking lot available just a short walk from the front door. I had an item for dinner from the specials list and that is exactly what it was, special. The three others with me for dinner all provided me with glowing descriptions of how good their selections were as well. Don't pass this up just because it's in Mount Holly or it's not a chain or for any other reason. Music every Friday night as well, with an adequate bar menu if you'd just like a drink, snack and some music on a Friday night.

This was my first experience, but not my last, at Robin's Nest. The French Onion soup was just outstanding - the best I've had since I made Julia Child's recipe years ago. I had the salmon cakes - all salmon, onion and sweet red pepper - simply the most delicious this side of Alaska. My dining partner had the chicken sandwich and raved about it. I plan on bringing family back for birthday lunches. Dessert - a black walnut cake - rich yet light cake with real buttercream icing - shared- a lucious end to this oustanding lunch.

4th time at restaurant. Wanted outside but were told all tables reserved. Inside is okay. Feels like dining at an older aunt's house. Quaint with pillows on the bench seats along window and lots of photos. Don't get me wrong, we actually enjoy it. Service was good. Wanted to order the 3 martini sampling, but were inexplicably told that the glasses were not set up for the sampling. Not sure why someone couldn't have washed six glasses?? The soup du jour (ham and bean) was top notch. Perfectly seasoned with lots of ham and nicely cooked beans. Entrees were a mixed bag. Rack of lamb special wonderful, but the Pompeii chicken overly seasoned to the point that there was no chicken flavor left. Good meal, not great, but will return.
