  • "Our son and his wife live in Worcester, Mass with our 9 month old granddaughter whom we have not seen since Thanksgiving. We often meet at Robert's because it is about half-way between Worcester and Litchfield, which means we each have about an hour and a half drive. We met on April 6th to celebrate our Christmas and of course to play with our granddaughter. The folks at Robert's gave us a wonderful round table in a secluded corner where we were able to be a little loud at times without disrupting our neighbors. We will continue to meet at Robert's not only for the location and great service, but the menu has something for everyone in our party and it's all good. Thanks you folks at Robert's and our granddaughter thanks you."

  • "We often visit Robert's for fresh seafood! There's an upbeat Maine vibe so it's great for visitors and it's large two level dining rooms easily hold big groups. Everything on the menu is freshly prepared and they accommodate any special requests or dietary needs. We have never been disappointed after dozens if visits - it's one of the very best in the Seacoast area!"

  • "I went here with my Mom last weekend and everything was very good - the service, the food, the atmosphere. The one complaint we had was we both ordered the Haddock chowder and there were WAY more potatoes than haddock in the chowder. It had great flavor but the lack of fish was quite disappointing."

  • "The chowder was excellent, awesome dinner but the whoopie pies were the best I've ever had. Staff was friendly and accomodating."

  • "Robert's Maine Grill again delivered on our expectation for a great seafood menu and excellent service. Robert's is our go to restaurant for an outstanding selection of seafood, prepared from the freshest selection of seafood, especially oysters at a reasonable price. We do not hesitate to bring out of town friends to Robert's to satisfy their craving for seafood."

  • "So glad I saw this restaurant online prior to a Maine stay over. Excellent service, great food, fresh, tasty & nice wine selection. Had reservations at 1:00pm & by 1:30 all tables were taken! Bar was active with enthusiastic oyster eaters!"

  • "The meal was great and the service was spot on. After a long weekend of skiing this was a great stop to break up the ride. Hot buttered lobster roll warmed me up and the kids were equally happy with their food and desserts! An interesting dessert was the Moxie Cake (yes you guessed it the soda) which reminded me of a Bavarian chocolate cake including the cherries! It will be a return visit for sure."

  • "This was my third lunch visit and Robert's has become a favorite spot when driving to Maine when visiting family in Massachusetts. The food, cocktails and service have never disappointed. The menu offers typical New England fare, but often with a slightly different take. I had the grilled scallops which were light, fresh and delicious, something I have found most menu items to be. Service is casual and friendly, but professional. I would not call this restaurant inexpensive, but I think the quality of the foood and service justify the prices. The parking lot is cramped, but free valet service handles that. Can't wait for my return visit."

  • "Found Robert's Maine Grille on Open Table while travelling last year. Booked our table and happy to say our second visit was as good as the first. Great seafood as expected being located in coastal Maine and very easy to find. Wonderful dishes and drinks from start to finish. Only nitpick is the place gets very crowded from lunchtime on and tough to find on site parking spaces especially at dinner."

  • "Great spot, good food and service, worth the drive from Cambridge."

  • "We love this restaurant. In the middle of the crazy Kittery Outlet scene, Roberts offers a rustic refuge from traffic. We've never been for dinner, but lunch on many occasions. Love their sandwiches, fries and coleslaw. We also had the chocolate cake with ganache and fresh whipped cream. Tried to split it four ways, don't do it . . . get your own! The waitstaff is warm, friendly and very helpful. Just what you'd expect in Maine!"

  • "The staff went out of it's way to make it an enjoyable experience. The hostess couldn't have been more accommodating, the wait staff was laid back & efficient. Special mention to Tina for a memorable night and a delightful surprise. The food was great, wine was 1/2 price if you bought a bottle. Highly recommend it!!"

  • "My wife and I went up on a Friday night to do a little shopping at the outlets, and drove by Roberts Maine Grill. It is always packed so we decided to give it a go. We finished shopping early and decided to head over and see if we could be seated early. We decided to sit at the bar and have a casual dinner. It did take us a while to get our drink order in and place our order. The bartender was great, the only issue is that he was over worked. Between servicing the bar fixing drinks for the tables he was very busy. After we placed our orders our food came very quick and was delicious. The oysters we ordered we awesome and my wife's salad was very good. I had a burger that was cooked to perfection and the perfect portion. Well worth it."

  • "We have visited twice and after an initial concern about a LONG line waiting to be seated it's worth the short wait. Great seafood bar where you can sit and enjoy a cocktail and many local fresh shellfish dishes. Friendly and quick service whether at bar or a table plus outdoor patio seating in season with water views. No disappointments in food or service and just a well deserved reputation."

  • "Robert's does seafood very well and most of our dishes were great especially the lobster slider, but the salad was only so-so and the same for desserts. We like what they do, though - much more interesting than your run--of-the-mill seafood joint - and will certainly keep going."

  • "We discovered Robert's Grill last year. The front desk at a hotel we were staying at referred us. We were not disappointed! The food is very good! From now on it is our go to restaurant in the Kittery, Maine area."

  • "We had a group of 12 (4 kids, 8 adults). One dish came late due to a mix up, and oysters were forgotten, but a couple of issues for a group this size were not so surprising. They more than made up for our problems by bringing extra oysters and desserts. The food was excellent. Everyone left happy."

  • "Over the summer I took my mother here for lunch. We loved it so much we returned with my sister and her husband for an after Christmas adult dinner. Our whole dinning experience was fantastic. Portions were spot on. I had the lighter fare pear salad with vegetable tart. Delish!! We'll be back again for a date night to try the seafood casserole."

  • "The other restaurant these guys own is the venerable Bob's Clam Shack across the street, so these guys know their seafood! The ambiance is definitely "Maine cottage," with wood-top tables, silverware in mason jars on the table, etc. Lots of white paint on the walls, and lots of windows looking out that the tidal pools beside and behind the restaurant, Food is definitely "comfort food," with Lobster Mac n' Cheese, Baked Haddock with a Lemon-Crumb crust, and a terrific Seafood Pot Pie. There are some non-seafood items too (Steak Tips, Chicken, etc.), but the seafood is why you make the trip. Service is well-trained, friendly and efficient, with good use of table runners to get all the food out together and quickly. Highly recommended!"

  • "Pulled off I95 for a little holiday shopping on way to Boston and found this gem! We were greeted by a delightful server who pointed us in the right direction for lunch. We both tried a local brew, I had the Haddock Ruben- lightly battered haddock and I am now a ruben fan. My husband got the crab/havariti/avocado sandwich- loved it! Great service, hot sandwiches and ice cold beer- We will be back to try the dinner menu another trip through!"
