The best spots are outdoors, followed by the second floor dining area, then the large downstairs area. The bar is also lively with a great number of specials throughout the week.
The food is made to please and accommodate - gluten free options available. There's an option for every taste.

Exceeded our expectations with the freshest of mussels, lobster, and local brews! A menu is printed daily telling you where your seafood was caught. The Mac and Cheese was sharp and creamy with portions for sharing. Service and presentation was spot on. Flights of local NH and ME beers came on ice with Popsicle stick labels for saving. Save room for homemade blueberry crumble/cobbler. We came across it a few years ago while at the outlets and loved it. The food is always extremely fresh and delicious. We've taken "foodie" family members and they were thrilled! I can't speak for myself but our friends and family that enjoy oysters rave about the different varieties and the freshness of them. Every dish I've had has been fabulous. And the desserts, we had a coconut lime cheesecake that was to die for! I love the set-up of the restaurant as well, so bright and airy,not at all crowded. Most importantly, you're not rushed! The different courses we ordered came at proper intervals. We were able to sit, relax and enjoy our day. On my reservation specifically asked for a table not in the middle of floor or foot traffic ( mother is 82 ) and that is exactly what we got right next to the servers table where they enter orders there were at least four at at time at the station, and the aisle for all servers to travel back and forth from the kitchen on the first floor. I enjoyed the baked haddock.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMSeafood done to perfectionI will probably never know whether this restaurant's claim to serving the best fish and chips in Maine is deserved or not. I've stopped looking, after being served a huge piece of excellent haddock – like halibut in its quality, which is rare for haddock in my experience. It had a perfect crust that rivaled the best tempura. The french fries and cole slaw were OK but could be improved.
My wife had the best piece of baked haddock she's ever eaten, and her rice accompaniment was "perfectly cooked".
Our server was excellent.
We had a nice view of tidal Spruce Creek, which is occasionally frequented by ospreys and other interesting birds.

Sea cost hitThis was my first experience.at Robert"s. my son has been raving about this place for quite some time, I figured it must be good for him to travel from new Boston nh to kittery, me . Well over an hour's drive and he's been to robert's well over a half dozen times.. The waitress was exceptional, I wish I could remember her name. Perhaps you can figure it out . Our reservations were for 1:00pm. She was a real pro and an asset to your organization. There were seven of us and the service by all was very attentive, prompt and served with a smile. The food served ranged from fried clam and beer battered chicken fingers for appetizers and everything from burger's,pot roast, clam chowder,seafood chowder, and kid meals. No doggy bags . Appetizers; Shrimp cocktail-jumbo full of flavor didn't need cocktail sauce & crab cakes were good, not great. Entrees; Fish & Chips, fresh, tasty and massive portion. Sauteed Shrimp & Scallops & Linguine this is the dish--Rich, fresh and full of flavor! Seafood pie was good and lobster roll very good w/two sizes available. For dinner, go with the larger size.
If you are a lover of Muscles, a half dozen varieties are available.
Dessert provides a nice variety and uniquely offers full sized and bite sized for a taste.
