I can't believe I didn't try brunch here until last Sunday. The fact that it's part of a museum is really cool and the scene is just so unique. Not to mention the view of Central Park and Columbus Circle. I loved the live jazz there too - they were so great. Just an overall great brunch place. I would suggest smaller groups (2-4) so that you can get seated by the window.

This is my favorite restaurant to bring out-of -town guests. They all fall in love with it. The view is spectacular, the ambiance of the room memorable, the food delicious, and the staff warm and welcoming. We are so fortunate to have a restaurant like that in NYC.

I brought my dad who was visiting from out of town to Robert NYC. We both enjoyed the view a lot, and I would definitely recommend making reservations in advance to get a window seat. Make sure you ask for a window seat that is NOT the corner table (it isn't bad, but it isn't as nice as being seated out in the open by the windows). I got the duck breast, and my dad got the branzino. Both dishes were beautifully presented and good, but we were definitely paying a premium for the view. Dessert was the highlight: almond peach cake! Get it!

Not sure this is always the case but when we walked in for brunch last Sunday there was a jazz band playing! Add that to the breathtaking view, delicious food, and great service and I would go back anytime! Had the burger which was delicious, though a friend had the steak and eggs which was a bit of a small portion.

We Made tea weeks ago and asked for window table as it would be our anniversary. When we arrived, they wished us happy anniversary and showed my husband and I to a window seat. What a view. Staff was superb and attentive without being imposing. Had cocktails, wine, appetizers and mains. It was all great. A memorable night mostly for the atmosphere and service. Good food was a bonus!

Thank you for a superb evening. The service provided by Byron was wonderful. He helped us with food and wine suggestions. Recommended to us by our Australian friends as a must in NYC and we are so glad they did. The view is breathtaking and the decor is really stylish. I think the man next to us was proposing and what a good choice of venue - she couldn't possibly say no! I can't imagine a better way to spend our last night in New York.

So, I did confirm with the hostess via phone and also alerted them to the fact that if the table was not acceptable to my group, then reservation will be cancelled at time of arrival. My request was granted at the time of arrival but was kindda pressured that we had to order right away and was told we were on a blocked time reservation. FYI, we did the best we can but there was no line waiting after 2 hours of dining. But we don't need to be pressured after being seated for 5 minutes, that we had to order soon. People go back to a dining place if they had a good experience. The view was great and I would recommend this place to my friends. Let's practice proper etiquette if you want regulars to come back.

Our window table afforded a wonderful view over Central Park and Columbus Circle. The ambience is good for cocktails and dinner. The wait staff were helpful. Mussels must be eaten the day that they are harvested, and we were not sure that this was the case for our mussel starter, which was routine but otherwise acceptable. My duck breast on parsnip mash was cooked to perfection. Pork medallions were tasty, but served on soggy potatoes, detracting from the overall dish. We had about an hour wait for the entree, which was too long. Kitchen seemed overwhelmed, as other diners had the same problem. The wine, a 2011 merlot from Washington, was young but complemented the dishes. Almond cake dessert was v good. Good expressos to finish.

I was referred by a friend to eat here and I'm so glad I did. Everything was absolutely amazing form the view (I had a beautiful window seat) to the food to the service and overall experience. Just keep in mind if you do want a table by the window which I highly recommend you have to call and reserve it as I did about a week before actually going because everyone and I mean everyone that dines there want a seat by the window to see that gorgeous view. As I arrieved for my reservation the hostess told me people that walked in to eat there were eying my table lol so I'm glad I called to reserve that seat. Amazing place and I will most DEFINITELY be dining there again!

You only want to go here if you're visiting New York or have folks in town who have never seen NY. You have to request a window seat 3-4 weeks in advance. If you don't have a window view sort of defeats the purpose of dining here. Anyhow, The food is Good , Average nothing amazing. Our waitress Rosie on the hand was Outstanding. Great Personality and made dining here interesting and fun. The ambiance is nice and you're not on top of one another which is also nice. The had a guy playing piano and a woman singing which was a nice touch. No Bar in the restaurant. They serve alcohol but no where to sit for after dinner.

Went for our anniversary and brought the kids (11 n 12). They don't have a kids menu or crayons but if your kids appreciate a cool atmosphere and good food they'll be fine. They have a few pasta items that should have broad appeal with most kids. Everyone loved their food. Although one of my braised lamb cuts was overdone the other was delicious. For me though the prices are high and portions are small so every bite should be perfect. For my plate it wasn't so 4 stars instead of 5. That said we still had a great time and would recommend it.
