"Worst Mexican food I have ever eaten! Tamales were cold and dry. Enchiladas were cold and tasteless. Queso was cold and so thick it was like solid velveeta with no taste. Do not go - I took a group of 8 out of towners and was embarrassed by the poor quality of food."

"This was a distinctly different experience. I really didn't know what to expect. But, it was helpful that RJ's had their menu on the web. That told me to expect a wide variety of choices. As you know, the image of Mexican restaurants is typically tacos and formica. I was extremely pleased with the wait staff, the ambiance, decor, cloth covered tables, and the food was excellent. Since I have many food allergies, not only did I find several dishes to meet my needs, but the kitchen went out of their way to prepare the food with my needs in mind. Oh, and the soup, the calabasa (sp?) was out of this world. Thank you folks for a wonderful evening."

"I ordered traditional cheese enchiladas and the cheese used tasted processed rather than distinctive. However, the cerviche was excellent. I think care needs to be taken in the selection of dishes, but it was a very pleasant place to dine, the service extremely cordial during a very busy night, and the chips and salsa are plentiful."

"The food was excellent. Tasty and plenty of it. This was a very busy Saturday night. Our 10 to 15 minute wait for our 7:00 PM reservation turned out to be actually 30 minutes. The bar area is small and was jam packed, so we just waited by the front door. The staff were polite but very harried and apologized for our wait. People were having such a good time that they were lingering over their dinners. We just seemed to be at the peak time for dinner. We were not rushed during our meal. The waitress was very attentive and made excellent recommendations. The experience was good and I am glad we were patient."

"We had a very good dinner. Menu choices were creative for Tex-Mex cuisine and the service was good - not great. We were disappointed that we had reservations and then were placed in an obscure corner of the dining room."
