Dinner and drinks with six adults came to about $280.00 with a tip. We ate like there was no tomorrow and the food did not disappoint. We enjoyed cured meats and cheeses, burrata cheese, oysters, salads, veal marsala, salmon and pesto dishes. All were great, although the burrata was still a bit chilly. Waitress was wonderful and very knowledgeable.

Fantastic Italian restaurant in Westport. Great location, very vibrant bar scene, energetic dining room. The Bluepoint oysters and Calamari were fantastic appetizers. The veal Marcella, Striped Sea bass, scallops with rissoto, and the salad with salmon were all fantastic. Scallops could've used a few more vegetables as a side dish. Drinks were great. Tables by the front window can be a little noisy because of the vibrant bar scene. More intimate dining in the back dining room. Top notch overall.

Always have enjoyed good here but service is getting worse and worse. Overheard the specials being recited at next table, asked our waiter he said there were none. Asked for a whole wheat pizza crust, it came out with a regular crust and when asked the waiter simply said, "chef ran out." No sorry or anything... Pizza was also missing key ingredients they must have "run out" of those and failed to let me know, as well. I can find good Italian many other places in the area.

Place was packed, but we walked right in with our OpenTable reservation. Server was very efficient. Food was great, as it always seems to be. The Angry Lobster is particularly good if you're looking for something a little on the spicy side.

We went for an end of year celebration dinner with our kids. Our servers kept changing claiming changes in shift, so they forgot to put our order in. We had two hungry tweens and to took over 45 minutes for the bread basket. Once the food came it was ok, my salmon was way over cooked and my husband's pasta was cold. It's a great space and generally fun for kids - but I think we'll stick to a cocktail and oysters at the bar and steer clear of dinner.

My wife has a serious gluten allergy and we ordered a gluten free pasta meal and discovered regular pasta mixed in with her supposedly GF meal. While the restaurant did try to rectify the situation, if we didn't catch it when we did we could have easily ended up in the ER for the night. I know it's never a guarantee when eating out, but I felt that I should warn any other prospective diners.

I have been waiting to go back and taste your penne ala vodka since last year. My family lives in Trumbull so it took a decent amount of time to drive all the way to Wesport. However, the food was excellent. I did note in the online reservation that it was my daughter's 16th birthday and I hoped that some dessert or a slice of cake would be given, as this happens at other restaurants like rizzuto's. Just an extra thought, a slice of cake doesn't cost much but it will buy you a dedicated and happy customer.

My BIG problem with Rizzuto's is noise. I can not enjoy a conversation in the restaurant. I recommend looking into this. Many diners are at an age where hearing is challenged. Perhaps a floor covering? There are professionals who deal with this. The last 2 times (in one month) were unbearable for us at a table of 4.

My husband and I went to Rizzuto's to celebrate his birthday. Food was barely ok, even though we both chose dishes the waiter recommended - seafood risotto for my husanbd, and angry lobster rigatoni or something similar for me. Neither dish had enough flavor - they were just bland. The chicken wings for a starter were better, but even then, good but not great - good spice but it didn't cover lack of tastiness.

A last minute reservation was handled easily and graciously after our kids' tennis match. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the friendly and attentive service (Ryan). The meatballs, Blue Point oysters and lobster crepes were all delicious appetizers. The papardelle bolognese was a winner, as was the ravioli and mussels. All in all, this place is a winner.

We've been to Rizzutos a number of times over the last few years but this time brought friends who tend to be on the foodie side. It was Saturday night so we made a reservation..smart move cuz it was packed w/ people trying to get in. The bar was hopping too!! We waited just 10 mins for our table. Our waiter was Jason , he's been our waiter before..it's good to see when the waitstaff has been there awhile, suggests that the restaurant treats them well. Jason is attentive, knowledgable & friendly. 3 of us had meals from the specials list..fish that was perfectly prepared and delicious. The fourth meal was the shrimp piccata with gnocchi ..also delicious. Our friends were delighted by the wine list, the menu choices, the dinner and desserts.

We go to Rizzutos 2X/month with our kids, and we always have a wonderful experience (that's the reason why we continue to return!). Our food during our last visit was great - we ordered fried calamari (nice, light batter), the artichoke salad, and my favorite pizza (prosciutto, arugula & Parmesan). The service, however, was horrendous. We were seated in the bar area (something I would NOT recommend), and had an extremely in attentive waiter. Our water was never refilled, and on the infrequent times that our waiter did come to our table, we made him stay so that we could be sure that all of our requests were submitted. We'll definitely return - because we love their food - but we will NOT be seated in the bar area.

*This is the firs time I have ever reviewed a restaurant. It was that bad... I decided to take out my fiance to this restaurant for valentines day. We showed up on time for our reservation and waited 15 minutes for our table. Then we were seated in a dim area with families and their kids when it looked as if there were plenty of tables in the nicely lit section. We decided to look past it and we both chose from the prix fixe menu. Below is what I thought of each item... App - mediocre salad Surf and turf - cold potatoes, luke warm filet mignon and inedible salad (stayed under a heat lamp for too long) Desert - chocolate tart was impossible to cut and eat We won't go back again.
