"First let me say that we enjoyed our dining experience with only one exception. Although our server was very polite and friendly, the entree arrived from the kitchen way too early; before we had finished half of our appetizer! This should have been recognized by both the server and the kitchen - they both appeared to be in a hurry to get the plates out expecting an Easter Sunday rush. That rush was not apparant while we were there as only 40% of the tables were full. This restaurant has much to offer, the food is good and the staff very friendly; but there is room for improvement in the kitchen."

"I really like this place because its one of the few restaurants in the area that's 'on the water' and not positioned for tourists. A wooden deck for outside dining leads you to the marina where you can walk the dock, oogle the seafaring vessels and take a few scenic photos.
We hadn't been here is awhile but everyone (4) enjoyed their Easter lunch. The menu is large and varied from brunch to sandwiches to full dinners. Our waitress showed up at the right times and did not leave us waiting or wanting for anything. The only thing I'd like to see is a vegetable alternate for the starchy french fries on sandwich dishes."

"A group of us retirees get together a couple of times a year to "catch up." We have tried any number of restaurants over the years since our former venue closed when the owner retired. Until we tried the Rivers Inn none had been satisfactory. We either ran into less than wonderful food, a poor seating arrangement, or too much noise to make conversation enjoyable. Rivers Inn fixed all those problems. We were given a table off to ourselves which was very quiet, we were seated close enough together to allow conversation from one end of the table to the other, the food and service were very good, and the view of the marina was enjoyed by all."

"All around a great restaurant. The She-Crab soup was different but delicious and the crab cakes that my wife and I both had were cooked perfectly. However, the Key Lime Pie was the highlight of the meal. The filling, crust and the whipped cream were all to die for--perfect! A great place for a special occasion."

"We had had really good experiences here before, but on this particular day apparently the chef was training some new people. It took over a half hour to receive our food. My husband's order was incorrect. The chicken for my big salad was not ready, so a huge bowl of lettuce came out first; I had to search at the very bottom for a few dried cranberries and one or two slivers of parmesan cheese, so I had to actually request more cheese which was supposed to come on the salad already. The temperature in the restaurant was chilly the whole time and we kept our coats on. The waitress was very nice and did her best, but the rest of the experience was a little disappointing. We expected better."

"Wanted a pleasant dinner date location -- close by, excellent staff, large portions on the appetizer, beautiful view of the yacht harbor, and superb food was perfect. My most favorite get-away spot for great food and conversation. Cost was very agreeable -- excellent value!"

"OUR GROUP OF 7 WENT TO YOUR RESTAURANT FOR LUNCH TO CELEBRATE 2 OF OUR PARTY'S BIRTHDAYS...OUR SERVER WAS NOT FRIENDLY OR ACCOMMODATING TO OUR GROUP...IT TOOK FOREVER
TO GET OUR FOOD...HE SMILED MAYBE ONCE DURING THE WHOLE TIME WE WERE THERE....THE YOUNGER MAN THAT SEATED US AND TOOK OUR DRINK ORDERS WAS VERY NICE AND WE ALL WISHED THAT HE HAD CONTINUED TO SERVE US. WE WILL NOT BE BACK ANY TIME SOON...IT WAS QUITE EVIDENT THAT OUR MAIN SERVER WAS NOT HAPPY OR REALLY TRYING TO PLEASE.IT IS SO VERY IMPORTANT TO HAVE A FRIENDLY WAIT STAFF....WE WONDERED IF HE WAS JUST FILLING IN OR IF HE IS A FULL TIMER."

"I met my long-time childhood friend at this restaurant for lunch last week. She and I each drove over an hour to meet there; it happened to be a good midway point for us. Our reservation was at 11:30 am. We were the first patrons to arrive at the restaurant. Our waiter was Tom. He was very accommodating...and very patient. My friend and I had not seen each other for over a year; we had a LOT of catching up to do. We ordered our entrees and, although we first said No to wine, we decided to share a bottle. The food was very good, and Tom perfectly spaced his "check on us" visits. We were there for about FOUR hours, and we were the last lunch patrons to leave. Our long stay didn't seem to be a problem and, as a result, our lunch was memorable!"
