River Ranch Lodge & RestaurantCelebrated our anniversary hereWe made reservations at the lodge and at the hotel. The staff all worked together, each checking on us. We were seated immediately next to a window seat, windows open overlooking the Truckee river, made it very special. Although the peppercorn steak was not my favorite, it great on me and we shared each other's meals. The chicken was delicious. The peach and cherry cobbler was the perfect finish. Wonderful evening!3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMStill a gem in my eyesWe enjoyed the River Ranch very much, I returned after two years having dined here a number of times over the years and was happy to introduce my family to the restaurant. My wife was impressed on her first time and loved the food. The service was great and when our server made one mistake he just acknowledged it and addressed it immediately. The view is wonderful and worth making reservations to see the river. The homey lodge feeling coupled with the wonderful menu made our day and it was a wonderful break for us from our usually stop at Plumpjacks.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AM
