Very friendly spot to dine. Just a few recommendations. You can barely see the sign outside. The portions were very small but good for the price. And please warm up the bread. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable dining experience. Especially the piano man.

I visited Ristorante Toscano tonight based upon a recommendation from a friend and it was exactly what he promised. In a very authentic and understated manner, Ristorante Toscano captures the intimacy and ambiance of a great local Italian restaurant. The staff was beyond friendly and even stopped for a brief conversation at our table. The food was great and the service only enhanced the overall experience. I would highly recommend Ristorante Toscano for anyone looking for a quiet night and an amazing meal with friends or family. I will be visiting again at my next opportunity.

We went for a mid-week date night. The food was delicious and fresh. The owner took time to come talk to is and have us personal attention. He even brought us out some sorbet for dessert, on the house! A must go spot! And you won't break the bank!

This BYOB features wonderful food. There were so many specials that I never looked at the menu. Everything, from the grilled pears wrapped in prosciutto appetizer to the homemade banana chip gelato for dessert, was above my expectations. We would definitely go back.

Very cozy setting with a nice ambience (keyboard player). Food was good, but not spectacular. Only one waitress that I saw so service was slow. They had many (too many) additions to the menu, especially at desert, so be prepared to listen to numerous non-menu items (I would have much perferred a written specials/desert menu so that I had some time to think). We are generally fast eaters, so the relatively slow service may not bother some who like to enjoy the dining experience.

At Ristorante Toscano the food was excellent as always. I frequently eat there and will keep going back. The service is always pleasant and the waitor/waitresses are very well informed on the dishes and specials. The service is quick but there's no rushing you out the door. They want you to relax enjoy the food and a bottle of wine. A great place for a date night or a night out with the family!!! I'm already planning my next trip to the restaurant.

Once again, I wanted to take some colleagues to a BYOB restaurant in the Lansdale area. This is my second time visiting this restaurant and the waiter/owner remembered me from the last time over 7 months ago. Everyone was very happy with their dishes. I was happy to bring my own wine! Great service and very nice staff. I would go back again!

The owner makes his presence known at every table. Excellent food, although we thought the portions were small - we're talking pasta - the bowls were not overflowing, Tastes great. Spinach salad was excellent, but the Caesar salad was weak, and watery. Both their red and white sauces are great!

This visit to Ristorante Toscano was our first dining experience at this restaurant. We were pleased with the overall experience. We like the opportunity to stop at a BYOB. We were pleased with our dinners and our server was super. The desserts were very good and we were happy with the cost of our meals. We sat in the rear room and found this to be a very quiet setting. We would recommend this restaurant and I actually did mention Toscanos on Saturday to some friends. We will return for a second visit.

On our recent trip to Ristorante Toscano it was their famous Gnocchi Gnight (the third Thursday of every month) and once again it didn't disappoint. This time we brought three of our friends and they absolutely loved it. I had one of my favorites the Roman gnocchi, a semolina dumpling with tomatoes, sausage an peppers. Around the table there were gnocchi bolognese, pumpkin gnocchi and gnochhi Verdi, which everyone enjoyed. And all this for $10 a plate! We love this place an feel special every time we go there. Kudos to John and his staff (including nephew Joe) for making this place so special.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and would come back again! Thanks for the complimentary dessert too (only one person decided to order dessert and he was out of that one item so he was very gracious to give her something else on the house)!

This was our second visit to this BYO Ristorante Toscano and loved it as much as the first time!! They were incredibly accommodating as we made a reservation for 3, but showed with 4 on a very busy Saturday evening. Once again, never really needed to browse the menu as their incredible list of specials did not disappoint our palates. We enjoyed the salad, pasta fazool soup, veal, shrimp scampi, scallops, eggplant parmigiana and the never ending list of delicious desserts. The meal was never rushed so we had plenty of time to digest between servings. We will definitely be returning to this neighborhood gem in Lansdale.

The service at Ristorante Toscano was very good. The waitress was attentive and the co-owner stopped by several times to ask us about our meal, etc. The menu is diverse and interesting. On the first Friday of each month they have live piano music which is a special touch. Location, location, location is what is needed for Ristorante Toscano. The entrance and signage do not draw in diners and it was a mature, quiet crowd.

Toscano is a hit or miss restaurant in my opinion. We have gone there several times and sometimes the food is great and other times, it is just okay. I think they put too much sauce on their food which takes away from the flavor of the food. We ordered the Basa and the waitress told us it is very similar to Chilian Sea Bass but when we got home, we checked and it is a type of Catfish. The service was good. However, the establishment it self was very cold; that is something that we have found every time we go there.
