"The food and service were excellent - but the place was near empty - I hope that isn't the case many nights.....The fresh bread was baked there and the meal portions were nice size and very flavorful! The menu is very realistically priced."

"Was looking to dine locally, did not feel like driving all over the place for dinner. The salad was beautiful, tasty and dressed perfectly. My companion had penne pasta pesto with chicken which was flavorful and delicious. I had the spaghetti bolognase which while wasn't bad, wasn't great. I felt it lacked something to freshen up the flavor. Nice local place for dinner, I will be back."

"Had wonderful meal & they are Very!! accommodating. Prices are very reasonable too! They have this fabulous tomato soup that I remembered. They didn't have any salad that I specifically wanted, so I asked "can you do this & put some grilled chicken, some x & y etc in it" - no problem!! plus the waiter/owner suggested a few more ingredients. It came quickly & was really fresh & excellent."

"This is a wonderful restaurant run by a delightful couple who cater to your wishes. They are happy to accommodate any special request you have and always with a smile. The food is excellent and the specials as well as the regular menu are always a culinary treat."

"We ate at Ristorante Mataro on Valentine's Day. My girlfriend had the Chilean Sea Bass while I had the Rack of Lamb. The food was outstanding: perfectly prepared and delicious. Our waiter, Ibrahim, was terrific. He was very attentive and personable, and made us feel very comfortable. We will definitely go back."
