"service was great, shared a tomato appetizer which was delicious, husband had veal with eggplant, tomatoes,peppers,cheese which was great, mine was supposed to be breaded veal with crabmeat and asparagus and melted cheese - veal was not breaded and there was no cheese so it was pretty tasteless. Would try again but I would order something different."

"Went on Good Friday party of 6 and had a fine experience. 5 entrees were excellent...salads crisp and cold when served and the dressings very good...One entree sea bass contained several bones making eating a bit tedious...My clams and Linguine excellente! The Tuna steak was excellent and the Tilapia got excellent reviews. Desserts were good and the Chocolate Mousse was rich creamy and delicious...Server made sure with our 6:15 reservation that we got to the Walnut on time for the show!"

"We had a wonderful time. The food was super! My brother and I ordered the whole grilled Brazinni -- which has to have been the best fish that I've ever had at a restaurant. My son's Bolognese sauce was delicious and authentic. The Appetizers were all especially good. We split an order of the mussels and calamari -- which offered ample portions for each of us. The red sauce was especially good! The Calamari were like "butter" -- they were that tender. The dining room was quiet, and our table was out-of-the-way, so we were able to enjoy our dinner conversations without shouting. We weren't rushed at all and the service seemed just right."

"The food was good. However, the service was lacking. The specials were rattled off at warp speed and when I asked to have some repeated the waiter was irritated. The waitress was not discrete. She continually interrupted our conversations to ask or tell us something. I will not dine there again."

"It seems to have been there forever. As you step into the subterrean space, you almost feel as if you are stepping back in time. the menu is italian with an emphasis on beautiful fresh fish. it was so quiet the night that we went that I was nervous but I was won over by the incredible food and service. if you haven't gone, go. if you haven't gone there in a while, go back. we need places like this to stick around."

"My only complaint is that I purchased the 30% deal and when the bill came and noticed the percentage wasn't taken off, our waiter angrily said we should have shown him the email first. However, open table said it would be handled by the reservation, and no need to bring any "coupon". Luckily I did, but was rather embarrassing."
