Great food, fabulous drinks and super ambience. I was more than happy with the service and the pace of our meal. When we checked in, we were greeted with "we know you are celebrating your anniversary and a table by the window will be ready shortly!" We sat at the bar sipping a beautiful glass of red wine when we were informed that the booth was available. The food was outstanding and both Josh & Marva(I hope I spelled her name correctly) were outstanding. It was so very interesting to hear that Marva was going to Italy and would be working at a winery! When she brought the dessert, she also brought each of us a glass of dessert wine to accompany our dessert. WE VISIT AT LEAST 6 TIMES A YEAR WITH OUT OF TOWN GUESTS AND A CHILD. THE CHLD IS NOW ELEVEN AND MUCH ADEPT AT ORDERING AND HAS BEEN EATING AT BARTOLOTTA'S SINCE SHE WAS 4 YEARS OLD. SHE LOVES THE DUCK DISH AND THE CEASAR SALAD. WE ALSO MAKE IT APOINT TO VISIT AT THE CHRISTMAS TIME LUNCH. We have been to several of the Bartolotta restaurants in town, but this was our first visit to Ristorante Bartolotta; I can tell you it will not be our last! The service was outstanding, the presentation divine, and the food was incredibly delicious. We ordered a recommended bottle of wine and our server was spot-on with the choice, as it was an excellent compliment to our meal. Deserts were heavenly. Food was DELICIOUS. I had the chicken polleta for dinner. It was incredibly moist with an excellent blend of flavors. For dessert, best tiramisu I've ever had. I know the caramel pudding is hyped, but, in my opinion, the tiramisu is much better. Very romantic ambience. This time was no different. I had the fish stew (Brodo di Pesce) which was a special on the lenten chefs menu. So delicious I want lent to last till Christmas!
Bartolatta keeps the fare clean and delicious. Many newer Italian restaurants in the area overload their entrees with extra ingredients making the food too busy. Great friendly service, perfect food for everybody, excellent presentation and taste. We had their special ravioly with black truffles and brazed lamb cheek with black truffles with great wine.
