Chef Mirko Inglese’s talent lies in creatively reinventing traditional dishes from all regions of Italy, in a lighter more contemporary style. New favorites include the Gnocchi with Braised Wild Boar, Baked Eggplant with Parmigiano Fondue, Roasted Beet Risotto, and Sea Bass Carpaccio with Organic Field Greens. "I would give 4 1/2 stars if half stars were possible. Risibisi is quite charming and the back dining room is right next to the Petaluma River. There may be some room for small tables on the back desk in warmer weather. My date and I enjoyed our dinner and evening there very much."

"The food and service is very good. I had the short ribs with mushroom sauce...delicious! I usually order the pumpkin ravioli, and always love it. I've enjoyed every meal I've eaten there. Very nice decor and there is a nice atmosphere. More intimate than other Italian eateries in Petaluma. It's a great place to have a small event. We got married there, with 45 guests, ceremony in the back room, reception in the front. The food was excellent, with plates of appetizers, and pasta dishes family style."

"Ambiance and Service were great. Wish I could say that about the food. Our crab cakes were terrible. I felt like they were from the Tyson frozen food section. Drizzled with thousand island (ewe). My soup was really good. My Veal was ok, potatoes on the side had ZERO flavor. My sister had the steak which looked good, but the side of the plolenta was awful. Like little flavorless hard bricks... Drinks are GREAT!! Thats about it. Bummer, cause I had high hopes for this cute little restaurant."

"Very nice wine list with a small menu with nice choices of meals. Started with Crab Cakes, very tender and fresh. Second had the Cesar Salad, a little fishy for my taste but nice size. Main Course had the Chicken and it was very tender and great portion size. Would recommend a visit."
