"Due to a couple of negative reviews we almost passed on going. Sure glad we didn't. We walked into an energetic, upbeat atmosphere and were greeted quickly. The food was terrific (I had the huge portion steak burrito) The Margaritas hit the mark and our service was tremendous. Forget about any bad review. Just go and enjoy!"

"We have been to the Rio once before several months ago and the food was good and the service great. It seems like something has changed. We were unhappy with the quality of the food and the service. It was Wednesday night and the service was slow and unpredictable. We were there to celebrate a birthday and we left wishing we had tried something new instead of returning to the Rio. A disappointment for sure."

"The food was no better than what we used to get in high school cafeteria. They ran out of Chardonnay (who does that?), they didn't offer any type of sweet wine and the Merlot left a lot to be desired. The margaritas were high priced and truthfully not that good. We had servers using the carpet sweepers all around us throughout the evening. The server took forever to bring us drinks and water and the food. We had to keep waving him down. There were screaming children next to us and after we ate, we sat and talked and would have loved to have had water but no one came to our table after they took our plates. POOR service, poor food, poor ambience. I'm afraid I won't be back."

"Although we eat here fairy frequently, this meal was a disappointment. I ordered chicken fajitas, and the chicken was very dry and burnt. Since we were almost the only people in the restaurant for an early lunch, the kitchen had no excuse to serve such dried out meat - other than total inattentiveness."
