  • "Excellent food and very good service. We love that the wine was so affordable. We will be back."

  • "Ringo Sushi is fantastic, best sushi in Lincoln Park."

  • "Not very busy around 8pm on Friday. It is byob and they charge $3.50 corkage for wine, which they tell you before they open the bottle. They also have bottles for purchase that are relatively cheap. There are a lot of different rolls, more variety than I've seen at other sushi restaurants. There are also a lot of options for people who don't like sushi beyond just chicken teriyaki, which wasn't very good (my sister got it). I had a white hawaiian roll that was very good. Vegetable roll was also good and a healthy option. Edamame appetizer wasn't very good - edamame were overcooked. Special rolls get a little pricey but seem worth it. Service was good. Waitress kept on top of my water glass so it was always refilled since I wasn't drinking."

  • "Some of the best sushi I have had, ever. And, they currently were having a special on their wine bottles at $12. Unheard of deal on wines that are well known."

  • "Love the All You Can Eat Monday special. Best deal in Lincoln Park for sushi."

  • "Amazingly nice staff and I cannot wait to go back for the food."

  • "A laid-back environment, where a large group of friends can enjoy BYOB sushi. Don't expect phenomenal sushi - but the combination of friendly staff, ample room for large groups, and quick service are the perfect combination for a consistently good time."

  • "Great time, great prices. Good for a group of people or a casual date."

  • "They had tuna Rangoon, which we thought was sushi grade but came as albacore canned-like tuna. Gross! Also, they had the HGTV broadcast on the wall which was a total ambiance killer. The waitress was difficult to track down to order and to pay. I won't go back."

  • "Singlehandedly, the worst sushi I've had in Chicago. The sushi was tough and fishy. It was if it had been sitting out all day. The beef was like shoe leather. We literally went out to eat after we left this restaurant. I cannot tell you how bad this restaurant was."

  • "Rice tasted like it had been sitting out all day. Service was spotty. Didn't like the current pop music on the radio - killed ambiance."

  • "It was fun and had great prices, great sushi and service. You could wear sweatpants and be comfy or be dressed up for a special occasion... everyone is invited and it would be fit for a first date, or a girls night out! will go back!"

  • "$20 All You Can Eat Sushi, Appetizers and Ice Cream every Monday Night!!!** **Charged for what you can't finish"

  • "Great byob sushi spot. Would definitely go again. Got the dragon spider rolls. Both good picks."

  • "Ringo used to be one of our regular sushi spots, but the last two times we've gone it's not been good. I'm thinking it must be new owners because the service used to be really friendly and upbeat and now is blah and the food used to be quite good for cheaper sushi, especially the salmon nigri, but now it's not at all. Very disappointing and won't be going back."

  • "Price isn't too bad and it's BYOB- alot of College students there to pregame before they go out."

  • "I'm a semi-regular at Ringo Sushi although I normally go on the All-You-Can-Eat nights. The regular menu is much more varied then the AYCE menu. Prices are very reasonable."

  • "After entering the restaurant, it took 10 minutes before we were acknowledged - and that only happened when I finally threw myself into the path of someone. Despite having a reservation, we were asked to wait for 20 minutes. The food was average at best and the whole time our server seemed impatient with us."

  • "Ringo Sushi was ok -- I really enjoyed the sushi, but it was really hot and there was no AC. They turned on fans but it did not beat the heat. If there was AC, I think it would make a huge difference. But the sushi was good."

  • "I like pop music, but very loud music that the Disney Channel produces is not ideal at dinner time or while you are on a Friday night date. Other than that I would definately go back, the sushi is very good."

  • "Fantastic BYOB. Great sushi, delicious tuna sashimi appetizer and you can get in on a Saturday at the last minute. Great neighborhood sushi spot!"

  • "Some of the most attentive service I've had in a restaurant in the city ever! One sip of your water glass and someone was by to top it off. I only went with one other person but I think this is a great group place as sushi always works in large groups for sharing. The BYOB option helps keep your bill down and all you can eat is just over 20 dollars. The sushi was pretty good, not great. The only thing holding it back was the quality of the fish used...it didn't melt in your mouth like some sashimi."

  • "Awesome service, and the amount of food you get for your money is hard to beat, definitely will be going back!"

  • "Really Good sushi and for a really good Price there is another sushi place down the street that is almost twice the price for the same food. The wine is priced reasonably and they also offer BYOB with a small cork fee."

  • "Our service at Ringo has always been very good, but the most recent time, it was outstanding. I can always find parking, the food is fresh, the rolls are wonderful, and the all you can eat offers a huge variety. I have twice called on a Friday afternoon to make reservations for a large group and am always accomodated with ease. I love this reataurant!"

  • "I've been a patron of Ringo for a few years. The all you care to eat sushi Mondays are a great value with a great many options. Make sure your tip appropriately, they do a lot more than the 20.00 bill per person they present. Only thing I have to comment about my latest visit is that the service is not the same with the change of staff. Service was incredible, welcoming and upbeat. I haven't been visiting as often because I find that the staff is not as friendly and welcoming, almost rude. Amazing the difference. Different supervisor may be the reason. I the place not packed like before, maybe same reason, or just economy is not good. Hmmmmmm. Very good food though. Hope this helps."

  • "Went with the family - Mrs and three kids. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Very kid friendly and attentive staff. Food is really very good. Hot stuff was hot. Cold stuff was cold. And everything was really very tasty. We will all definitely return to RINGO Sushi. Their Monday All You Care To Eat menu is very worthwhile for variety, taste and cost."

  • "Came out for my boyfriends birthday we had a group of 12. The service was great the food was awesome. We brought about 6 bottles of wine and tequila. They had no issues opening and giving us shot glasses as well. I highly recommend Ringo Sushi. We will be frequenting again for sure"

  • "I took my son and we had a nice dinner plus some entertainment. They had Wipeout on a big projector screen which my son enjoyed. Its also BYOB which I actually didn't know about until I got there. But overall we ate plentiful and still took food home and I spend about $40 including the tip (I didn't order any alcohol). I'd go for the all you can eat for $20 next time."

  • "This was my first trip to Ringo and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a Monday night and to my surprise it was 'all you can eat sushi' night for less than $20.00. The all you can eat menu was not restricted to basic rolls - all signature rolls and sashimi/nigiri was available. It's also a BYOB so quick the bargain for some great sushi. Only hitch was all members of party need to participate, but why wouldn't you. Will definitely go back!"

  • "I went there with some friends because they offer a student discount. The meal would not have been worth its price without it. The food was bland (and we ordered some of the spicier items on the menu). BYOB with a slight corking fee. Meh just so-so and can't see myself going back with so many great sushi restaurants in Chicago."

  • "It was fair. Nothing special except for th 8.88$ bottles of wine for it 10 year anniversary. For how mediocre it is, I would say it's food is overpriced."
