A word from Rimrock Inn
The historic RimRock Inn, perched on the edge of Joseph Creek Canyon in Northeast Oregon, is a feast for the senses in a laid-back Western atmosphere. With views of the dramatic canyon back drop while you dine from either inside or out, our destination Inn is a renewed take on the tradition of American scratch-made comfort food with a Western flair. We’re focused on fresh, artisanal ingredients. We use local and organic fruits and vegetables and sustainably-raised meats whenever we can. We serve one fixed entree item at dinner (check our website for the latest seasonal menu). Included with the entree price is our signature organic salad and bread. Our bar serves a hand-picked selection of craft beers with an emphasis on what is local and a friendly list of Northwest regional great wines. Scratch-made desserts are fresh & change with our whim!

So, if you find yourself in this corner of the world, you should reserve at the Rimrock. They make a fixed meal every night and you can either stay in the lovely rooms or in the teepees outside looking over the spectacular canyon. They made a choice of three apps and we have the mushrooms stuffed with goat cheese. Then a lovely salad came with a choice of 4 house-made dressings. We loved the shallot vinaigrette. The main course included succulent pork ribs that fell off the bone as well as a gratin potato dish and corn on the cobb. Desert was a choice of hand pies-apple, berry, etc cooked to order. It's just the perfect kind of place for many people who want a rustic yet delicious meal. Great selection of microbrews, cider, and wine too.
