Diner Reviews
  • "We've been to Ridgway's many times but on this occasion with a couple who hadn't been there. They really enjoyed it as I hoped they would. I order the chicken pot pie nearly 100% of the time. One of our guests had the meatloaf. The diverse menu is very appealing to us. We will come back for sure. "

  • "We're full time residents and Ridgeway's is a favorite. We often take guests as was the case with our last dining experience. They were impressed with the food, the service and the lovely views of the garden. "

  • "When first passing by the restaurant we weren't impressed and didn't give it another thought until a friend highly recommended it. We made a dinner reservation and they asked if we wanted to sit indoors or out in the garden. Well who wouldn't want to sit in an outdoor garden. Needless to say, we were blown away when we saw the gorgeous garden hidden in the back and unseen from the outside of the restaurant. The ambience was wonderful and the service impeccable. The food was outstanding. A wonderful find off the beaten path. Highly recommend."

  • "Very nice meal perfectly cooked salmon and Mahi served with various sauces we chose mango salsa that was very good.side of sweet potatoes fries, which were good but didn't care for the fried tomatoes. Attentive service. Very rich bread pudding, for sharing. We will be back soon. Lovely outdoor seating."

  • "I was very disappointed on this, my last visit to this restaurant. The clam chowder was very watery. On prior occasions it was nice & creamy thick. The braised short ribs that were recommended came out black (burnt on top) and this portion was hard as a rock and uneatable. I was planning to take friends here over the next two weeks for a nice meal, but not now. It appears to me that either the chef was not in, got fired, or quit."

  • "Such a terrific meal. We sat outside in the garden next to the fountain which made for a lovely setting. We both had fish and in both cases it was expertly prepared. The by-the-glass wine list offered some interesting selections (the Albarino was particularly good). Our server was a delight. We'll definitely be back."

  • "We have been to Naples many, many times and there are several excellent restaurants there. We finally tried Ridgway and wish we had gone there sooner. Both the service and the food were excellent (the Scottish salmon is outstanding!) and they have a large number of outside tables on the porch and in the garden, which is very nice!"

  • "We have been going to Ridgways for years. The food is always consistently good and the service is excellent - great location downtown"

  • "Delicious ! Loved sitting on the porch overlooking the garden....charming, tropical ambience. Very cheery atmosphere. Hanger steak was perfect. Best clam chowder anywhere and I'm from New England. The brownie sundae is a superlative indulgence."

  • "It was an especially beautiful day so we opted to have lunch on the porch. It was so relaxing if we were on vacation we would've stayed all day! As always the food was excellent."

  • "We brought out of town friends here after planning to come here ourselves - and never having made it. We loved it. Food was great. Wait staff and host/hostess are the best. Very friendly. We sat on the side porch - sort of inside/outside and it was a fabulous atmosphere. It's a busy and large restaurant, but I loved the energy level. We'll be back!"

  • "The food is ok but overpriced! Not worth it. Much better value at other restaurants in the area."

  • "I have been eating at Tony Ridgeway's restaurants for probably 35 years. Some have been excellent and some have been ho hum. My latest visit to Ridgeway's is exactly why I keep coming back. The meal, the service, and the atmosphere were top notch. There is a comfort level there that is hard to find in many restaurants. I would recommend this place to anyone and I will be back."

  • "A great dining experience…we sat out in the garden. Our waiter was wonderful and very knowledgeable. We all had the create your own fish entree and we all loved our creations. This is the fourth year in a row that we've gone to this restaurant and we will definitely dine there every time we are in Naples."

  • "Lovely setting and generally good and timely service. However, really overpriced."

  • "Three of the four diners ordered grouper and it was so tough it wasn't edible. The other diner ordered a steak and it was perfect. Service was very good. So I would try again, but not order fish."

  • "We have been dining here for years. They have a varied menu..something for everyone. While it might not have the most "trendy" items, we have always had a great meal and great experience!"

  • "This is a true Naples 'sweet spot'. The gardens are something we would all aspire to. The menu good and the food terrific. Picked the tuna steak, too big, too raw and too cold. I think the waiter should have been a bit more informative . Salmon was wonderful. Truly a nice place for a quiet dinner off 3 rd!"

  • "Meet friends for dinner and had overall a wonderful experience. Our server was very helpful in recommendations and our meal was great. Loved the beautiful setting. I would definitely go back and have already recommended to others. I had the blackened snapper with greens and it was fabulous. The key lime pie is the best that I have had anywhere. Everyone enjoyed the evening."

  • "We were hungry for some good old "comfort" food, and enjoyed three meals on their classic menu. The chicken pot pie was delicious with "real" pie crust, not puff pastry! The best we've had in a very long time. We would definitely return for another evening meal."
    Dined on 3/21/2014
  • "We all ordered the grouper fish fry and it was mediocre at best. The food came immediately, so we had no time to visit."
    Dined on 3/21/2014
  • "Ridgeway never disappoints! The food was delicious! I had the grilled grouper and the rest of my party had the fried grouper and everything was cooked to perfection. Our waiter was very professional and accommodating. We will be back!"

  • "Ridgway is one of our favorite Naples' restaurants. We are seasonal residents and dine out frequently. All of their menu selections are high quality and well presented. The menu has varied offerings - something for everyone. Highly recommend Ridgway's gazpacho, any fish entrees, and a comfort food - the meatloaf. An absolute must to end dinner is the key lime tart. We don't often rate a restaurant this high, but Ridgway's deserves it! Try it out."

  • "Ridgeway's has always had delicious food. You won't be sorry if you dine here. But they have gotten really expensive over the years, so your wallet may not be as happy as your tummy after eating there."
    Dined on 3/14/2014
  • "Moderate noise level, attentive staff and nicely prepared meal. We thought the meatloaf and chicken pot pie might be a little bland, but both were very nice. We would order the same anytime. Other items we have had in the past were also very satisfying."

  • "Best mussels dish made. Servers were excellent. One of our favorite restaurants in Naples. They are very good at handling large groups. Outside dining is always a plus."
    Dined on 3/12/2014
  • "We dined on the patio which added to the warm and friendly ambience. The dinner/ service was relaxed, not rushed. There were four different main courses in our group, all of which were delicious. We enjoyed a delightful evening of dining and catching up with good friends. We would definitely recommend Ridgway and plan to return when we're back in Naples."

  • "Our title says it all: Ridgeway Bar and Grill is our favorite restaurant in Naples! We had the mussels appetizer, ceasar salad and Ahi Tuna. Delicious! We were seated immediately, although it was a very busy night at the restaurant, and our server was delightful. The wine list is excellent. We love the Ridgeway. 5 stars!"
