Rico’s American Grill brings high-quality, farm-to-table cuisine at an affordable price. Nothing about Rico's is complicated; not the parking, not the prices and definitely not the menu.

Here, it's all about straightforward, locally sourced ingredients. You'll find back-to-basics meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a neighborhood setting. The drink line-up at Rico's is as friendly as the staff. We have daily Happy Hour Specials including The Rico's signature Rough Riders brew, HD TVs for sports viewing. The bar program also includes a wide selection of tequila and margaritas.
Rico's, which is located adjacent to the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak, is named after a now-defunct 1900s Mercury mine. The restaurant pays tribute to the community's mining history with its mining artifacts and decorum.

  • "Considering this is attached to the Hilton I thought the prices were going to be outrageous. I was happy to see they were not and are your typical prices for eating out at a bar and grill. The sweet potato fries were delicious and so was my skirt steak. I loved the little dessert cups they offer so you can sample multiple items. Great staff! I would go back."

  • "Took three people to open our wine. First, she had no idea how to use the waiter key. She plowed right through the wrap. Then tried to pull the cork through brut strength. Then called over server number two across the tables who couldn't do it either. She screwed the thing so far down the key couldn't have caught the side of the bottle ever. At some point we offers to help and showed them how to use the lever. To which one exclaimed "we are getting schooled tonight". But the cork was so beat up it broke in half. So they called a manager while telling us "we keep telling management we need wine training". Food is ok and some was really good. But it is hotel prices - be warned - for untrained servers."

  • "I have only been a patron of this establishment once. The review that I can give is of one experience. That being said, I think this place has enormous potential to be very good happy hour spot. Since it was not busy at the time I have a arrived, I was promptly seated and taken care of by the host and waiter. There are no complaints of the food and or service, I just wasn't wowed. This is fine, this is just me."

  • "We made reservations for our anniversary because we had our reception at the hotel. When we came in at 6PM there was only 2 other tables with customers. The decore is very dated. The waitress aske if we were guests of the hotel. She was shocked that our response was no. She said, "oh, you must be from the neighborhood." That was the clue that no one comes here willingly. The waitress did her best to tell us the specials, but it came off forced. We ended up waking out before we ate."

  • "I was expecting more, the steak had no flavor, we waited a long while between plates before someone would come check on us. there was hardly any one there, so no reason for them not to be attentive. Some of the food came out cold. The only thing that was perfect was the cheese cake."

  • "We made a reservation at 5pm for 8pm that same evening, making sure to note that we had a group of 4 plus a highchair. When we arrived, we discovered the dining room was closed and the hostess told us we could sit in the bar or on the patio. She waved us in the general direction we were to go and went back to putting up Christmas decorations. The bar had either two-tops or high-top tables, neither of which would fit our party or a high chair. The patio consisted of mostly couches and coffee tables, but we did find two bistro tables that could be pushed together to fit us and had to track down someone to help us. The server was snippy when we mentioned we didn't know the dining room was closed, but got a little nicer as the bill grew."
