We booked a table for four before theater for dinner on a Saturday. The restaurant was busy and quite noisy, particularly when the band started, but nevertheless adequate for conversation. The food was delivered promptly and the follow up was good. The food was well prepared and the selections were very complete. We did not sample the wine list. It was a very enjoyable evening with friends and we got out in plenty of time for our theater.

My husband and I joined two dear friends for dinner and each of us just raved about the meal we ordered. Everything was so flavorful, creative, and beautifully presented. Each course, from the cornbread before our appetizer arrived to the last tasty morsel of dessert, was just excellent. I ordered the featured "Wine of the Month" and it was so reasonably priced and surprisingly fabulous. We were already big fans, but now we are even more so.

We had a travelling weekend and when we got home, we rewarded ourselves witha relaxing visit to Ricky's. They were very busy and the staff made sure our wait was comfortable and entertaining. We had the Manager open on serve our wine and another waiter stopped by to talk. The pace for the staff was brisk, but that never was seen in our service or attention. Great job!

We had an early dinner. Their $24.95 3 course meal was truly a bargain. Large house salad or soup, salmon, dessert and drink preceded with their award winning cornbread was a winner. Others had an ample serving of spareribs, enough for two meals with side of bacon mac 'n cheese or petite 3-4 oz. filet mignon and either house salad or wedge w. blue cheese. Full bar and easy parking. We'll definitely be back!

Our first time at Rickey's was wonderful. There was eight of us, and none of us had eaten there before. Our waiter Paul was very nice and professional, the food was very good and before being seated, we waited in the bar, and the bartender was also very professional. The food was good, and be aware that some of the food was small in portion, and high in price. One person said the three crab cakes for $15.95 was very small. I had the bowl of chicken soup, and the caprese salad. They were both very good. I had no dessert, yet those who did enjoyed there pick. Most of us will return, two in our party were visiting from other parts of the USA and Europe. Try Rickey's and make up your own mind. I did and will be returning.

We chose the restaurant because it is co-located with the Inn Marin Motel. They are both a great find. The restaurant and Motel g=have undergone a complete and beautifully do renovation. The food is indeed American Comfort food, with some neat twists. We shared a crab and coleslaw appetizer taco-ized in a fried wonton, great Asian flavor. Main courses, a small filet served on garlic mashed potato and a Caesar salad topped with a nice serving of flat iron steak. Everything was wonderful, tasted great, was hot and served in good time. Would we go back, heck yea! Two drinks and a shared desert brought the bill to ~$80 plus tip (total left $100). A real bargin on top of everything else.

Value not there for the price. Seared Ahi Tuna tiny portion, lots of rice for $21.50. Four shrimp appetizer for $14.50. The bargain is the prix fixe at $25 including wine. Looks like they're trying to make up the loss leader on the ala carte menu. Also a pedestrian menu. Wouldn't return.

One of the best places for a family and friends get together. Great service, Good food(best kid menu ie not just chk nuggets and mac&chesse) lovely atmosphere+entertainment (jazz on Saturday eve in July) with the added plus - the kids and adults can use the hotel pool!! They supply towels too. I have brought my parents here many times. This year was one of the best times we ever had at Ricky's. Glad to see they remain a fantastic Resturant after all these years.

As happy customers of Rickeys and Inn Marin service was OFF 6/24/14. Hostess not cordial . Seated as per reservation, no one came to the table. Asked for water. Wait person was impatient to take our order. Salads finally served as a large party came for patio service . From then on things fell apart. Others nearby were served , left and our entrees did not come. I left the table to ask the hostess who didn't seem to care. Wait person came to ask for dessert order and was surprised that entrees were not served. Apology, "I had a big party outside". .Entrees finally served, but had to leave the table again to ask for knives. Off night? Regular male staff always nice, food great, beautiful room.

We have been to Rickey's when they were very busy and other times when they have open tables. On every visit we found the staff attentive and very well coordinated. Just enjoying the service that seems so seamless, but is clearly coordinated, is worthy of our trip, but the combination of food, ambiance and attentiveness is a reward and much more enjoyable. We visited after a weekend that was personally hectic and found ourselves relaxing and calming down as we enjoyed our entire visit, wine, and meal.

We had dinner at Rickey's a few years ago. We thought that the service and the food was mediocre back then. We decided to give it another chance. Rickey's has not improved. 1.Soup of the day was extremely salty! 2.portions of the pre-fixed meal main course is NOT worth it. I ordered the NY steak with my pre-fixe meal. The size of the steak was less than half of a regular NY steak order compared to the table next to me who had the full piece. 3. no one come to ask how we liked the food or if we needed more bread or water. Maybe they are used to having old folks who just want a quick meal or it could be that the staff didn't receive training. Rickey's is the worst restaurant. We will not recommend it nor consider giving it another chance.

Rickey's is a real gem of a restaurant. Last night we sat poolside. The pool was full of small children who were having such fun while their parents ate and/or had cocktails. The management does a good job of keeping the noise level and splashing down. They have a huge beautiful garden and last night a wedding was taking place which added to the entertainment. I had Caesar salad with salmon and a martini and my friend had beer and steak sandwich. There is a bar menu, bistro menu and regular menu so there's something for every taste. I have never had a bad meal here. I'll probably eat here again tonight. The service is good and the staff are always smiling, happy and helpful.

We found the restaurant busy and there was seating on the patio with part of the staff support that service. We were seated inside by the manager, who greater us, seated us, and opened our wine, generously seeing to our comfort and interests. Our waitress was Katiana, who had waited on us at our last visit. It was rewarding to have her help us with her fun awareness and observations while not hovering or intruding. As busy as she was, there was not a hint of stress or issues from her. Nelson did stop by as well, making our visit even more enjoyable. It was a dinner visit that was rewarding in every sense.

Rickey's is tucked away so that I didn't even realize it was there. It's very nice inside. I understand there is poolside Jazz some weekends. Everyone in my party of four liked their food - tilapia, ribs, steak. I had a nice salmon fillet with potatoes and asparagus. The sauce was changed on request. Drinks were generous, service was very friendly, prices fair. Outside in the back, nice grounds to wander in. Overall, very pleasant.

Rickey's is an excellent dining place. I appreciated the day-before phone call to confirm our dinner reservation and to ask for our seating preference (inside or outside [for live music]). We (5) were promptly seated inside--per our request. Loved both the corner booth and overall ambiance of the place. Our server was delightful! And, the wait staff was courteous and efficient. The food: great menu selections, just the right serving portions and every morsel...scrumptious. We're definitely going back to Rickey's in the future.
