We were taken to our table right away. It was a fantastic table next to the window. Our server was nice, but was too soft spoken. It was difficulut to hear her. The restaurant was very croweded with many large parties (prom!). The food was beyond wonderful. Excellent. Perfectly prepared. Beautifully presented on the plate. Excellent food. However, we had to wait 45 minutes to receive it. We were at the restaurant from 7:15-9:05. We did not have an appertizer course. We were very dissapointed in the amount of time it took for us to receive our meals. Bar service was slow as well. It was our first time at the restaurant. Friends had the French onion soup and seafood bisque and both said they were great. We went to Ruth's Chris a week earlier, paid the same money, and had a very poor meal. We have never had anything less than stellar service and always an unforgettable steak. This time I was really in the mood for fish and I could have not been happier. As a matter of fact, not being able to decide between the sea bass or the tuna our server suggested to try a half serving of each, which was perfect. Both tasted very fresh fresh, were prepared to specifications (I like my fish less done that more) and has excellent accompaniments.

The small wedge, split in half, was an ample serving for each of us, and we still took home half of each of the half-size sides and half of the large slice of cheesecake. (Kudos, by the way, on sourcing the cheesecake from New York. I can't remember the last time I had an honest-to-goodness real (i.e., *dense*) New York cheesecake anywhere in the south.
