Our private dining room is intimate and striking, sophisticated and comfortable. This semi-private, glass-encased dining room seats up to 24 and is adjacent to an elegant wine cellar with a vast selection of fine wines.
    In a semi-private setting we can accommodate up to 50 additional guests, thereby accommodating parties of up to 75 guests.
    Our full-time dining professionals will guide you in planning an event to remember. We value the opportunity to host your event, and appreciate the opportunity to serve you. Our private dining area simply requires a reservation. We do not require deposits or contracts, thereby making your experience as easy as possible.

Our drinks never reached half way, all of our food was prompt without ever feeling rushed. It was a very enjoyable way to spend our 6th anniversary. They even surprised us with Happy Anniversary cookies on our dessert plates and the waiter wished us a Happy Anniversary."

  • "My wife and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at Rick's. The restaurant was clean, well appointed, in a great location downtown with Valet parking at the door. No long walk from a parking garage late at night was required. The food was excellent as was the wait staff. My only complaint was that I could barley understand what the waitress was saying as she described the specials and other items on the menu. Although she was very attentive and did a great job of getting our food out and seeing to our needs afterward, she spoke with a very heavy broken English accent and as a result we had to depend on reading the menu in order to determine what included with the dish that we ordered."

  • "Even though this is generally more of a steak place, we ordered 2 seafood entries and they were both excellent. I had the "company" crab cake and my husband had the blackened scallops. Service by Amanda was outstanding. Great place to celebrate or just enjoy a great meal. The owner, Rick, even greeted each table, nice touch!"

  • "My husband and I tried Rick Erwin's saturday night. The food was to die for. It was seriously the best food I have ever put in my mouth. Our favorite part of the whole night was the service our server presented us with. I can't remember his name but he was absolutley amazing and made our experience the best experience ever at a restaurant. I even wrote on our check "Awesome Service and Amazing food!" Thank you for putting your guests first, it sure does show."

  • "Excellent service and a classy, modern feel. Unfortunately, the food is hit-or-miss, and ultimately disappointing. The Oysters Rockefeller was very good. But, the surf-and-turf was horribly over-seasoned (both the filet and lobster tail). The steak was at least a good cut and cooked perfectly. The lobster tail was over-cooked...to the point of being non-edible. The kitchen is Rick Erwin's weak link."

  • "Cut back on the salt. The filet is delicious, but the outside crust is overly salty. The quality of the meat is excellent and doesn't need any distraction. Fried oysters and hash browns are nice accompaniments."

  • "The food was amazing. From Chilean Sea Bass and Crab Cakes to Filet Mignon and Pork Chops, everything we tried was perfect. Our waiter provided a fantastic evening. He was polite and conversational. I would recommend the Seafood Bisque. It's an excellent way to start out the evening. Be sure to ask what sorbet flavors they have for dessert. The peach was highly recommended by those who ordered it."

  • "Restaurant was beautiful. Young valets standing nearby didn't move to open the door for us (two women), and the hostesses were a bit vapid, but everything else was wonderful. Our waitress was great, her big personality was a definite plus. They actually encourage substitutions, and were totally fine when we asked to cancel one dish and replace it with another well after ordering. The Prosecco was ice cold, the Mac and Cheese delicious and the Filet perfect. The Oysters Rockefeller weren't "authentic" (I grew up outside of New Orleans) - mostly a lot of creamed spinach and yellow cheese - but hey, they were delicious, so who cares? No room for dessert. Will definitely go back."

  • "My wife and I love this place, it is our favorite restaurant. Normally we will go on the weekend (Fri-Sat), but this week we went on a Tuesday night. The staff was great as usual. What was lacking for us was the food, which was a shocker. My steak was not near as good (higher fat content then normal) and the sweet potatoes were either over cooked or honestly looked like left overs from previous days. Many dark spots and streaks in the potatoes, and tasted the same. Creamed spinach was very runny as well. Again, we love this place....our favorite restaurant, but tonight they were just average and did not excite me to return (though I will once memory fades)."

The food is a little pricy, but once you start enjoying the taste, you forget the prices. I think it is also worth to mention that our food came out a little early, waiter was there at the same time and asked that the food be taken back till we were ready. Little thing to most, but meant a lot to us at the time. Great place to go. Can't wait to go back and try the steak..."

  • "Our Hendricks up martinis arrived cold with ice crystals and cucumber garnish. Perfect. Our waiter was a professional: friendly, knew the menu and wine list, efficient, didn't hover yet showed up when something needed to be done. We had the Tuscan bean soup and seafood bisque to start and they were good however the bisque was a little salty. Entrees were the veal shank and the surf and turf. We liked the variety of preparation options for the beef. Portions were large and delicious but we couldn't finish the side dishes. I had the 7oz surf and turf option but the 4oz. option would have been enough. We had an excellent, reasonably priced Barolo wine with dinner. Lastly, Mr Erwin stopped by our table briefly. A nice touch. "

We have been to most of the fine dining restaurants in the Upstate and have not found a better steak anywhere!! The service was spot on and the price was reasonable for what we ordered."

  • "The server was pretty good. Friendly, helpful. I ordered a near $50 Salmon dish that came out well undercooked. Returned it and my wife was done with her dish by the time my re-fire was brought back to me. No visit from management to see how the re-fire dish was. No compensation of any type for having to sit and watch my wife eat while waiting (and vice-versa for her after she was done and my plate returned). Got the overall feeling that the customer is taken for granted. "

  • "Really enjoyed the food. We had fried green tomatoes to start. They were the best I've ever had. Next we had the seafood bisque and gourmet greens. Main entrees were the Company Crab Cake and the Chicken Gorgonzola. Everything was excellent. To finish, we had the Chocolate Kahlua Torte. It was divine. I enjoyed the ambience--dark paneled walls and Sinatra playing. The table set-up nor the noise level were conducive to a romantic outing. It was our 6th anniversary. Our server was professional but lacked personality. In fact, she didn't seem happy to be there. I don't remember her greeting us or introducing herself but I could've missed it as I had problems hearing her. Overall we enjoyed it but may choose other restaurants in the future "
