A relatively new restaurant in the Holiday Inn in the French Quarter. Centrally located. Food outstanding. The server needed to better trained. She was pleasant but didn't know the exact price of a glass of wine. $10 or $12 per glass or something like that, she said. Happy Hour in the bar from 3pm-6pm is a real deal complete with $2 bar food and $3 martinis. Overall we liked it!

A well rounded experience. The curtained private booths are a real delight! Low lit and classy with relaxed and fun undertones. This place makes you feel like you stepped into a secret super club or that you scored your own little spot at a private party. There is even a little outdoor courtyard. Wonderful food and fantastic music in the SAME place! One nice touch was the thick, drink menu book, quite the selection of classics and new creations, sweet and savory. Martini with Stilton blue cheese stuffed olives? Yes please. Service was on point. We each ordered something different so we could try as much as possible..but we later learned that the chef does offer a tasting menu and I think we will do that next time.

My boyfriend and I planned a getaway to New Orleans, and were determined to have a romantic night out for dinner. Beyond impressed with the Bombay Club's website, we booked a reservation, requesting one of the private booths, which we were accommodated with. The ambiance and entertainment were great upon arrival, our servers knowledgeable, and the martini list was an entire experience in itself! We tried the raspberry martini, the Gibson, and the breathless; all exceeded expectation. When the food came, we couldn't get enough of any one dish. Thoroughly impressed and satisfied! Would recommend to anyone looking for romantic ambiance, private dining and delicious food!

At first glance, we thought the Bombay Club was going to be overpriced and a little stuffy. We were pleasantly surprised at how friendly the staff was, we seated in a cozy booth, very romantic. The cocktails were well crafted and most of the food was really good with the exception of the shepards pie, a bit to thin and topped with what I believe was instant mashed potatoes. The praline and banana creme brûlée was the best I've ever had!

Yet again, restaurant staff did not read the note/guest comment. Led to the maître d' arguing that we did not have a reservation. He showed us the computer screen and guess what?...there it was. Then sat us at a tablet, not a booth as requested. Then scolded us for not pre-ordering lobsters. Did not know I had to and was not asked to order when restaurant called to verify reservation. All entrees arrived at different times; brussel sprouts terrible; asparagus so-so; fries very good. Others in my party may return, but I will not.

What a hidden gem. So close to the busy bourbon st in New Orleans but when you walk in it's a cute dark cocktail bar. We had dinner. The food wasn't to our taste but was done well enough. The cocktails though, were what made the restaurant. You have to check it out.

We went for the summer Thursday night lobster special. Did not know that we needed to tell them in advance that we wanted lobster, but we were still able to get it. They had advertised it for $25.00 but when we got the bill, they had charged us a lot more than that. We called it to their attention and they only charged us the $25. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy. The food was very good. We enjoyed the music, which was not intrusive. The only negative was our waitress. We had to ask for bread. She forgot to bring the olive juice for the martinis. She brought less hot towels to to clean our hands after the meal than there were people at the table. Thankfully, the person assisting her was very good.

We had a great evening for my wife's birthday. Their drink menu didn't disappoint. So many options and all the drinks we ordered were excellent. We both got steaks and they were the best I've had in quit a while. Service was excellent.only complaint was that while we were seated in one of their private booths it was in the bar and there was a lot of noise. Great place though.if we return to New Orleans we'll definitely be coming back.

Had it at $$ and the menu was more expensive than advertised. The food was lack-luster - not much flavor - almost a pre-made and warmed up taste. The drinks and service were nice. There was a quartet that drowned out any and all dinner conversation - as our table was in the back - but right under a speaker.

This was probably the best dining experience that my wife and I had while in New Orleans. The martinis were top notch to say the least. As far as the food goes, I'd have to say it was the best steak I've ever eaten! I've had many steaks from all over and this was the absolute best!! Found this hidden gem a few years ago and stopped in for a few drinks. The ambiance is great-dim lighting, wood, piano and an outside garden area. This year we found time to eat there enjoying more than just their fresh, creative martinis. Four if us dined on mussels, and a crostini n tomato fondue to start. We had entrees of steak-cooked to perfection, Shepard pie and a tomatoe filled with spinach n goat cheese over a creamy mushroom risotto. Cheesecake and chocolate martinis rounded out the dinner. We were all fully satisfied and the service was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Would go again- try it if only for drinks!

This is our second time attending Bombay for there summer lobster specials. As before we had 4 adult's were seated promptly at our arrival. Wait staff was friendly and fun to talk to. The lobster was cooked property, it arrived at the table hot with all the fixings we asked for. The staff did a great job keeping up with us removing what wad no longer needed from the table. Specialty drinks were very enjoyable and averagely priced. The place is a little small, so if there are some big parties seated at that time it could become some what noisy. The curtain drawn tables are cozy and romantic. Over all very nice time.

Peeling wallpaper, food all over floors, overflowing visible trash cans. We arrived expecting a nice restaurant (jacket required) and found one full of people in beach-type cloths and a run down ambiance. So much potential squandered. To top it off, service was awful(rude), and food subpar at best. Not worth the price tag!

If you want a nice place to hear great live music but quiet...not crowded...with no drunks with lots of beads around their neck...this is a great spot. Yes it is in the French Quarter but tucked away in the Prince Conti Hotel, it has a fabulous drink menu with lots of great martinis and cocktails, curtained booths for romantic privacy, a great private outdoor patio area, and a very good menu. I recommend the crawfish and roasted tomato fondue appetizer. We had a Speckled Trout special over asparagus risotto with lemon beurre blanc...outstanding. Loved the music, loved the wine, LOVED the setting. We also loved our server Patty...fun, attentive, knowledgeable.

Flight was delayed coming into New Orleans so our reservation was bumped to a later time. We were seated next to the band which was lovely but prevented conversation due to the noise level. Food was delicious, scallops best we had ever tasted, only complaint is the small serving size. Martinis were tasty as well. We enjoyed our meal and would recommend the Bombay Club, ask not to be seated next to the stage and expect to need a midnight snack after you are done.
