Staff was ready for us when we arrived for reservation with a ramp at front door and a well thought out table to accomodate his special needs. I was VERY IMPRESSED with their thoughtfulness and efficiency...we had a wonderful evening!3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMFood Fabulous, Ambience ChangedThe Rice Paddy Restaurant in Georgetown, SC, was put on the map by the "Susans," wonderful, inventive, hard-working local Pawleys Island gals that built the restaurant up from a tiny lunch cafe to a vibrant , "seen and be seen" lunch and dinner experience!!! The Susans worked tirelessly with an amazing staff to repeat a stellar dining experience day after day, and night after night! It was hard to get a reservation and the bar was always packed with locals and tourists alike!
Presently, the restaurant is under new ownership. We have continued to go to enjoy some of our favorite dishes that have remained on the menu, from the Susan's era.
