Very fresh new chinese cuisine with no of the gummy sauces etc. flavors were rich and everything cooked beautifully. the waiter seemed very new and needed a bit more training. When asked about the ingredients of a dish he could not fully describe.

This small, friendly family-run restaurant is NOT the usual Chinese food. Everything was extremely fresh and well-prepared, not at all greasy & very tasty. We ordered the wonton soup & hot n sour soup. If you can judge the meal by the soup, then prepare for a treat. The soup was great, especially the hot n sour soup, which was not too spicy or peppery, but perfectly seasoned. Wonton soup was very flavorful with hand folded wontons( with whole shrimp and pork) that were delicious. The prawns with brown sauce, baby bok choy, green beans - amazing. The prawns tasted very fresh, the baby bok choy melted in your mouth. The food was slightly higher priced than run of -the-mill Chinese food, but well worth it. Service was attentive & personalized.

They really want this place to work, but it's a miss. They try so hard. The ingredients are good, but the food is lacking. The prices are extremely high and portions are quite small, not shareable. Had the duck egg roll, just didn't work. The wonton soup, very fishy. The fried rice, ok, but not great. The General Tso's, again, ok, but nothing special.

Rice is a wonderful family owned upscale Chinese restaurant. The food is excellent. Fresh, well prepared and beautifully presented. One can see there is care taken with every dish. Owners only want to please. Rice is definitely an "under the radar" find in Armonk.

Our experience was disappointing. we were sat right beside the only other couple there. Unfortunately this made the couple talk really loudly so we couldn't even have our own conversation. Secondly, it was very cold inside. I was very chilly and I kept my winter coat on. And most importantly - the food. I ordered a fish dish that was on the "chinese new year" special list. In my mind, the special should be very good. My fish was undercooked. So when they brought it out, the server tried to de-bone it. She saw that it was clearly undercooked and sent it back. The other dish, the chicken, was good. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience and we will not be returning. It was also overpriced for what we got.

We tried this restaurant for the first time and we were disappointed. Although the ingredients were fresh the food was under seasoned. We generally find restaurant food tends to be oversalted but this food actually needed salt and seasoning in general. We ordered a crispy duck with yam dish and had trouble finding the duck making the dish basically sliced bland mush. The lobster tail in the other dish we ordered was tough. Too bad because they were very nice and we need an upscale, modern chinese restaurant since China White sadly closed.

Food was fresh and delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. We started off with appetizers for the table - Five Spices Duck Spring Roll, Watercress Shrimp Dumplings (both amazing) and Ban Ban Cold Noodle with Chicken (very good). Our entrees were Sea Bass with black bean sauce, a beef tenderloin dish, and from the specials menu lobster tail with ginger - all were delicious. The person who had the Sea Bass who never, ever finishes their entrée at any restaurant, wiped their plate clean. The vibe was comfortable and friendly. Will definitely return.

Honestly a little surprised how good it was since it's in a sort of strip mall. Our group drank a lot of wine and was loud for the small venue. but no one gave us a hard time and it was a good time. the food was delicious.

This small restaurant is in an obscure shopping center, tasteful, fresh decor, attentive service, unusual and palate pleasing dishes. Food quality excellent. presentation attractive. Totally enjoyed our meal. Try the peking duck, creative presentation consisting of four pork-bun like pancakes, filled with hoisin and duck skin, and a side dish of beautifully asembled duck meat and vegetables that you fill the buns with. Outstanding.

This hidden gem is tucked away, about a block off the main strip in Armonk, and it is truly a great place. The food is not your usual Chinese fare. It's beautifully prepared and delicious. The flavors are subtle and perfectly balanced, and the family's home recipe for dessert buns is about as close to perfection as you can get. It also doesn't hurt that the restaurant is owned by a lovely family that truly appreciates your business. We can't wait to go back.

Finally, real Cantonese food in Weschester. Very authentic modern Hong Kong cuisine, and this from someone who regularly travels there. Delicate flavors and beatiful presentation. Nothing like the gelatinous goo that seems to pass too often for Chinese food. Jenny, the owner, is a pleasure to talk with and will even make off-menu items. We have been there twice in the past week and expect to return frequently.

I hope this restaurant stays. Cantonese cuisine, with a slight update (e.g. pork buns with less fatty port), but delicate/authentic, unlike the rest of the usual adulterated Chinese food in Westchester. The waitress was attentive at addressed concerns without being prompted (e.g. gave child a fork when she struggled with chopsticks). It is an a smaller a couple blocks mall away from downtown Armonk, so I hope it sustains itself.

Armonk is fortunate to have that rarity: an authentic Chinese restaurant. The chef creates his own sauces, nothing from bottles! The duck spring rolls were spectacular, as were the pork dumplings and the wonton soup, with thinly rolled noodle dough. Each of us had a different entree and both were superb. This was our second visit here and we will return often because of the high quality of the food. The blue and white decor is a reminder that this is a fresh approach for Americans looking for genuine Chinese cuisine.
