  • "We had one of the best family birthday experiences we've had anywhere recently at Riccuiti's. I had requested a somewhat private quiet table for our event but was pleasantly surprised when we were seated in a private room. The food was great, as was the waitress who happened to be the owner's daughter. Another pleasant surprise was finding out that we were there on half price wine night. The literal icing on the cake was allowing us to bring in our own birthday cake. Needless to say we will be returning to Riccuiti's again very soon. I just can't say enough good things about our experience. Go! You won't be disappointed."

  • "This place can be hit or miss. Sometimes the menu options are great, sometimes not so great. The same with service. But if you hit this place on a good day, it is really worth it. My most recent visit it was a little off with both service, which seemed disorganized and with untrained staff, and with the menu, which didn't have great menu. I hope this place gets back on track soon."

  • "This place is incredible. Every time I find myself in Olney (which, sadly, is not often), I always find an excuse to visit this restaurant. Everything is locally bought, the chef has a great sense of taste pairings, and the wait staff is uniformly wonderful to the patrons. The only complaint I have is that this restaurant is far away from where I live!"

  • "Overcooked hamburger, even though I made a big point to have it Medium-RARE - they put a wet side dish next to the bun, making it soggy too - when I mentioned it to the waitress- she said, well, we don't normally serve that next to the hamburger, so that's why it got wet - really??? We felt like we were not very important guests on this trip - so, I'll rethink before going there in the near future....."

  • "I'm trying to eat very little gluten. As I sat there (salivating over the bread my husband was eating) the appetizer of hummus and gluten-free bread arrived. The bread was warm, had a nice texture and went perfectly with the hummus. My husband even liked it! As I'm also trying to eat less in the evening, the salad topped with steak was the perfect choice--lovely mix of flavors--apples, dates, walnuts, gorgonzola cheese, mixed greens, balsamic vinaigrette. My husband really enjoyed his pizza with tomato sauce, grilled squash, mozzarella cheese, and basil. Great meal--good quality foods/many local & some organic--affordable price...Thank you!"

  • "We ordered the special- beef skewers. The meat was tender and cooked to our liking. The mashed potatoes were cool and the green beans hard so we were disappointed with our sides. The bar needs help. Our friends drinks lacked Roses Lime Juice ( they do not have any) and generally were not well made. The bartender was very nice, however and she came out to our table to explain the issues our friends had with their drinks."

  • "My wife and I went for our anniversary. We were only a couple minutes late for our reservation, but they gave away our table, despite there appearing to be a few empty tables free anyway. We were seated right away despite the mixup. Their menu was great, especially since my wife is gluten intolerant and we didn't have to ask for a special menu for her. The gluten free white pizza we ordered as an appetizer came quickly and was really good. The entrees, however, took a long time to come out. When they arrived, they were hot, so I don't think it was because they sat around. Everything was really good (well, the polenta cake was a bit bland and spongy, but not inedibly). Aside from the wait for the entrees, the service was excellent."

  • "The food was excellent and the service very good. Loved that the food was locally sourced whenever possible, and that it wasn't "portion packed" and pre-cooked. My guest was from Europe, and before ordering, asked if this was US-style or normal portions, and I was glad to be able to say that the portions were going to be perfect and not oversized, cheap quality food."

  • "Decided to take family (Wife and 2 adult children) out for Father's day. Don't usually like outside dining due to heat in the area, but this day was fabulous with ideal temp and humidity. We sat at a nice table and could chat without shouting and were not disturbed by other tables. I had a great Stout (22 oz), son tried Mohito that was made well. We had Spinach and Artichoke appetizer (we get it every time and it's great) then shared two of their signature wood/brick oven pizzas, booth very good. Very good and friendly service, very attentive and we never had to wonder where they were hiding. Clearly our favorite place to eat in Olney."

  • "Not your chicken nuggets kind of restaurant. They use only quality locally grown food and the meal was superb! Not big meat eaters, we couldn't resist the filet mignon with roasted garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. I couldn't tell you what the sauce was because I was exhausted by the end of the evening. The restaurant is located in an historical house in Olney. But the meal melted in my mouth, as it did my daughters who eats less red meat than myself! But the best part of the meal was their chocolate pizza... (they are also known for their excellent wood burning pizza stove) but this I can only say it out of this world. Fresh fruit cut on top of a crust covered in white and dark chocolate with a hint of raspberry! Amazing!"

  • "We had a great time and the food was really good. The restaurant acknowledge our 41st anniversary by bringing out 2 mugs with chocolates in them afterwards. However, what somewhat spoiled an otherwise very good experience was that flowers I ordered connected to this reservation on Open Table from Flowerpetal.com were not placed on the table as a surprise for my wife as I had planned. That was very frustrating because the maître de told me that they had received no flowers (reservation was at 6:30 and she said she had been there since 4:00. I later found out from the florist that the flowers had been signed for at 3:00 PM. Clearly a lack of communication in the restaurant spoiled at least a portion of the event."

Wanted someplace where we could relax and have delicious food in a friendly atmosphere - and in a closeby neighborhood. All of these requirements were met - and we had a great time. Food was delicious - including the grilled swordfish and the calamari. We enjoyed other dishes as well, but these stick out in my mind. Would visit again, when we want to be relaxed and casual and enjoy good food. Room was quiet and a bit dark for my taste - but outdoor dining is available as well when we want lots of sunshine."

  • "Just went to Ricciuti's for our anniversary and it was fantastic. When we were first seated, a family with loud children was seated behind us, and after asking the hostess if we could move, they accommodated us and moved us upstairs very promptly. It took a moment for our server to get to us, but after she did, she was very attentive. Their wood-fired oven pizza was the best pizza we've ever had (Matchbox and Fireworks have nothing over this place). The crust was just ever so slightly charred on the edges and the toppings complemented each other so deliciously, we both had a look-across-the-table-with-eyebrows-raised moment after the first bite. The organic wine was excellent. Overall, a great dining experience, would dine again!"

  • "My last review on Ricciuti's, while not terribly negative, concerned mainly a particular evening's special dish of Rockfish. Neither my wife nor I enjoyed it at all, probably Rockfish purists, but chef's do their best to freshen the menu over time and often take chances ... and you can't please everyone. Glad to say the wonderful dining experience we usually have here returned on our last visit, an early meal for us with a 5:30 booking. My wife had the Filet Mignon, which she thoroughly enjoyed and I revisited an old friend, the Penne Bolognese. We both enjoyed the light crowd from the early hour and our server, Matthew, could not have been better, even though starting a second shift. Ricciuti's remains our "go to" restaurant at any time."

Everyone at the table couldn't stop commenting on how great their selections were, We ended up sharing! The service was also outstanding from the time we arrived till the time we left.
