We've been to Ricciuti's many times before and have normally enjoyed our experience there. Saturday night was a disappointment. The food was tasty as it normally is, but the service was awful. We were seated at an upstairs table that the staff seemed to forget for long stretches of time. The wait staff seemed to be unable to attend to the handful of tables upstairs and we waited much too long to submit our food and beverage orders. It didn't seem to take too long for the kitchen staff to prepare the food, but our waiter was not up to the task.

I went with three girlfriends to celebrate one of our group's 50th birthday last Saturday night. We had a reservation with a marking that this was to be a special celebration. It took our waiter over 15 minutes to come to us to order drinks, another 20-25 minutes to get the drinks to us and that was the pattern for the evening. The food was good but not anything terribly special. I picked the restaurant because of the farm to table focus. I was the one who made the reservation and left very disappointed. It was as if we had to flag down the waiter every time we needed anything in terms of service. Ugh.

Poor service from grant on Tuesday evening. Did not bring spoons for coffee or with dessert. No steak knife served with the filet.Did not place our order correctly so my meal arrived 8 minutes after the others. My food did not taste or look like my husband's. We asked for our leftovers to be packed together only got one serving. Our hostess was so disappointed as she is a frequent guest with you.

We've dined at Ricciuti's a number of times. My family and I visited to celebrate recent events. The food was fantastic...absolutely fantastic. The service was terrible. Very infrequent visits to the table. It took quite awhile for the meal to reach the table - which isn't unusual on a busy Saturday night - but the server should have asked for a second round of drink orders. I had to go find a waiter - they were huddled together talking...not working...to ask for a second round of drinks and water for the table. We probably would have had a third round if he was on the ball. No one asked if we wanted dessert. Poor marketing, he could have inflated the bill and subsequently could have had a better tip.

Service was great and the food was delicious. I especially liked the ingredients in the different salads...it was hard to choose just one to have. It's a great local restaurant and we love coming here, whether it's just as a couple or with a larger group. There's something for everyone on the menu. Everyone in our group left happy with their meal. We'll definitely be back again soon.

I've been going to Riccuiti's for years. The food is consistently wonderful. Service is attentive. Cocktails are very good as is the wine list. I love the fact that the food is from local providers with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal ingredients. Excellent vegetarian options. The brick oven pizza is great - interesting choices, not run of the mill. I have not had anything here that I did not love, and I have been through most of the menu. Most recently I had the chicken saltimbocca, my mom had the meatloaf, and my sister had the penne Bolognese. Thank you, Riccuiti's, for so many wonderful meals!

I recently met with three co-workers for dinner at Riccuiti's. We had a nice quiet corner with a table big enough for comfort. My friends were excited by the unusual menu, but after the meal, only rated their dinners as "ok." I was disappointed that they were not more pleased with their selections. Maybe the chef should consider not having so many unusual items on the menu and improving the quality of a few? For instance, one diner rated the BBQ meatloaf was just ok, but loved the mashed potatoes. It's great that some old favorites are still on the menu, because that's what I ordered and my food was as good as always. By the way, everyone loved the little biscuits with honey! The service was very good.

This is a great place for lunch or dinner with friends. Farm-to-table is all the rage right now, and Ricciuti's does not disappoint. The food is fresh, delicious, and seasonal. I get the feeling that most dishes are prepared to order, meaning the wait for your food might be a little longer than at a chain restaurant. Waitstaff is attentive, although our waiter was a tiny bit forgetful and we did have to remind him about a couple of drink orders. The only thing we ordered that we didn't all completely love was the chocolate pizza for dessert. It was just weird. Tasted a little like garlic, which isn't exactly what you want in a dessert. Standouts: Drink: Vanilla Old Fashioned Appetizer: Calamari Entree: Rockfish Dessert: Bread Pudding

Our first time to the restaurant. The food was good but not exceptional (my lasagna was overly stuffed with ricotta cheese and the vanilla ice cream was sort of dry). The young waiter was very nice but pretty disorganized. We thought we'd like to come back, but probably to try the outdoor area next summer - it looked like a nice space.

Ricciuti's is a great local restaurant that you can always count on to serve good, locally sourced and healthy food at a reasonable price. The fact that they make a point of using meats and vegetables locally and organically grown/raised speaks to their commitment to their community and their customers. The menu includes a range in both food type and price to satisfy a broad audience, from their brick-oven pizzas to higher-end options & great specials. The food is always well-prepared and tasty, creative enough to please the foodie but not off-putting to the less discerning palate. I've eaten here many times and never been disappointed. The wait staff is very friendly and the owner is always on hand to ensure customer satisfaction.

I had booked the private room upstairs for our girl's night out dinner. Our best friend was turning 60 and we brought presents, and enjoyed the wine and great food. The private room seats four comfortably even though it seats six. It gave us room to open cards and presents and just relax!!!!!!!!!! It's our go to restaurant for a girl's night out in Olney. Booking it on Open Table made it very easy even though if I hadn't called back to reconfirm my reservation, the girl who answered the phone said I probably would not have gotten the private room which I requested. So that needs to be addressed. Other than that it was great.

This is a great place to eat. Everything we have tried has been great. But my wife and I have gotten hooked on the spinach ricotta lasagna. It is a generous serving and good eating. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. There always seems to be a number of regulars who know each other. Whenever we visit College Park we always take time to eat here at least once. It is always a pleasant time and good food. Now if I could just learn how to pronounce the name correctly.

We have had dinner many times at Ricciuti's and it has been excellent every tingle visit. The wait staff is young, cheerful, enthusiastic and efficient. The menu is imaginative and the specials change frequently. All of the food has always been prepared and presented superbly--from the simplest salad to the most complex entree. The setting is comfortable and usually quiet enough for easy conversation. Ricciuti's is one of the best, if not the best, restaurants in Olney and in fact compares well with any in Silver Spring.

We celebrated our anniversary with my parents at the restaurant. When we mentioned it was our anniversary the waitress went out of her way to present us with coffee mugs with locally made chocolate inside. It was a lovely and unexpected gesture! I should also mention the waitress was extremely helpful in finding us a table that was more comfortable, and the host also arranged for us to be able to be seated with my parents, who both use canes, without having to walk steps. The food was delicious, there were many great choices and we will definitely be back!

Our art group meets here every other month before our meeting - the group varies in size from 6 to 12. The staff is very pleasant and will provide separate checks. The menu is a bit expensive so some members may choose an appetizer and others a full meal. Sometimes the food is not served to everyone at the same time with delays up to 15 minutes. But generally, it is a good place for our group, right next door to our meeting place. And the food is usually delicious.
