  • "Visited Ricciuti's with a group. The food was great! Delicious selections and options for vegans. Everyone at the table couldn't stop commenting on how great their selections were, We ended up sharing! The service was also outstanding from the time we arrived till the time we left. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and visit more often."

  • "Ricciuti's is a great place to eat. What else is there to say? Though not regulars, we have dined there often enough to know what to expect: friendly, attentive staff; food that's locally sourced; innovative specials; and a comfortable setting for dining with friends or family. Patio dining is an option."

  • "We asked to be seated outside and were. Then we decided it was too chilly, after all. We were given a table inside as if we had asked for that. No fuss, no muss. The inside table was upstairs in a cozy room that, though filled with happy diners, was quiet and wonderful for conversation. Our waiter was prompt and helpful. Each dish we three ordered was beautifully presented and quite delicious. Each of us was happy with our selection. We used to get pizza from Ricciuti's when they were a strip center inhabitant in Laytonsville. Our grandsons remember fondly the pizza they used to get there. It is a pleasure to see that they have kept their wonderful pizzas and have also become a great local sourced elegant restaurant as well."

  • "The service was good but sadly the food was not Interesting at all , blend ! Found a good bottle of Pinot noir , cheese plate Was not very special and dessert like every where else. A lot of local and familly with kid , the table next To us even have a baby on a Saturday night ."

  • "We have eaten here a handful of times and it is always delicious. I was disappointed in the service on this trip. While it didn't ruin our time, our waitress was awful. We sat for 15 minutes before she ever came to our table, several times we asked for things that we were never brought (bread, drink refills) and she never even checked on us once she had someone else bring out our food- we actually were waiting for something but ended up eating. She pretty much checked out once she took our order, even though we saw her several times at other tables. Like I said, it didn't ruin it for our guests we were bringing here, but it left a lot to be desired."

  • "As always, our dining experience was delicious, and the ambience was noteworthy. Both the pizza and the pasta dishes live up to expectations. Ricciuti's is a gem set inside a charming vintage house, and is a wonderful asset to the Olney neighborhood."

  • "Hit or miss would describe an experience at this restaurant. Last night, it took forever to get noticed and even longer to be served. The food was above average; however, the menu is very limited."

  • "Great, fresh farm to table food! Such variety! All served in a wonderful old White House in the heart of Olney! Have been there many times and will return for many more!"

  • "This was a perfect dinner party. The wait staff are friendly - very responsive. The food was served at the right temperature - an served promptly. My group all commented on what a great -friendly place to go for dinner or drinks/food. Thank you for all your staff did to make this so enjoyable."

  • "Ricciuti's is great. We eat there ~twenty+ times per yr. It wld be great if someone cld convince Mr. Ricciuti that whole wheat pasta and whole wheat pizza dough are his newest great idea. We had to stop eating the pizza bcse of the adverse health consequences (blood sugar through the roof for everyone) of white flour."

  • "It is always a special treat to go to Ricciuti's before the Olney Theatre. There are always wonderful pizza choices. Tonight's choice is apple gorgonzola. Their food is always local and fresh and this time was no exception. The bacon wrapped pheasant was wonderful and the rockfish was excellent. Service was fast and friendly! A great time was had by all!"

  • "Restaurant has numerous small rooms which usually makes for a quiet, intimate dinner. The one we were in this time was larger with more tables and people, so it was noisier than I anticipated and would have hoped. The food was quite good, however, and I recommend the place highly."

  • "Good food was presented nicely. Bar service was Very Slow. The restaurant was crowded but someone should come up with a way to service the people in the upstairs rooms quicker. 20 minutes to have a glass of wine and a beer delivered needs to improve. Perhaps have some food items like bread and butter upstairs to make the service seem faster."

  • "We had a family dinner there to celebrate our in law's anniversary. The wait was initially long, even though we had made reservations ahead of time. Our waiter made up for the inefficiency earlier."

  • "There were 8 in our party and everyone was very happy with their food choice. Appetizers were wonderful and my filet was cooked perfectly."

  • "Went here for dinner with a friend. Booked through Open table and our table was ready as soon as we walked in. Food was delicious - my friend said she orders the pizza every time she goes as it's so tasty. Wine a little pricey though. Service was good and they made us feel able to stay and chat at our table - no pressure to leave even though it was a busy Friday night."

  • "Dinner was very nice, Everyone enjoyed their selections and he service was attentive. The house leafy salad was delicious as was the Forte pizza. Since we had people that are hearing impaired in our party it is especially nice that Ricciuti"s is divided up to several small dinning rooms which really helps keep the noise level low. We will return."

  • "My husband and I went to Ricciuti's for Valentine's Day this year. It was the first time that had visited this restaurant and weren't sure what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised! We had a wonderful, fun waiter who made great recommendations, was polite, and made sure that we were happy at all times. We shared the spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer. My husband had a pasta dish that he loved. I had the Bianca pizza which was fantastic from the woodfired oven. Together, we shared their "legendary" chocolate pizza for dessert-it was great! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal with wonderful service."

  • "Tried to seat us next to the garbage/wait staff area when the rest of the restaurant was empty. After significant negotiation got another table. Chicken tasted like shoe leather, hard and overcooked. Mashed potatoes were watery and lacked taste. Over priced and underachieving."

  • "Went to celebrate wife's birthday and had a very good time. Timely and polite service. Food selection is varied and offered new choices in a "specials" menu, it's interesting to see what the specials will be on each visit. I tried one of the regular items, a meatloaf with barbecue sauce and it was very good. Only downside was the closeness of tables next to us, would like a little more space/privacy. Ambient noise was low enough to talk at table, but not so quiet that everyone else hears you."

  • "I live in Howard County so I am always going to Baltimore or DC for good restaurants, but I have a new favorite! We have been here a half a dozen times and have loved it every time! The atmosphere is charming, the food delicious, and the service is top notch!"

  • "This restaurant was given 4 stars but I'd say the food was mediocre. We had the 2 items the waiter recommended and found them acceptable but nothing special. Pricey for the quality. But it is very convenient if you're going to the Olney Theatre. I would use this place for that reason only and try the pizza and other lower priced items."

  • "Best brick oven pizza in MoCo, truly. Calamari friti also very tasty. We keep coming back for the wine list, too. Love the attention to local foods. Service is, eh, slow, confused sometimes, so bring a sense of humor and patience, but we'll be back!"

  • "We enjoy this restaurant quite a bit. We love the fact that they take Open Table reservations and have gluten free options (pasta included). Beer list is not long, but it is interesting. PIzza is good, but occasionally you get crust that is a touch under cooked. This time, I tried the mac and cheese for the first time. Very heavy and rich, but tasty! Glad I tried it. Bread pudding for dessert was excellent. Service was very good. A bit pricey, but food ingredients are local."

  • "Recently dined here and it was my second time there. No impressed with the menu reluctantly decided to get salad and pizza. Salad pathetic looked like it came out of a bag. Pizza was very average nothing to write home about. My son ordered the mac and cheese it was covered in bacon, bacon overload not very good at all. Probably would never go back there. Disappointing meal for Valentines Day, I might add typical for the area not many good restaurants in OLNEY"

  • "Twice since Christmas, we were served uncommonly well, once following Sun afternoon at the Olney Theater and, most recently before Sat evening performance. Both were very pleasant surprises, attributable specifically to diverse and expertly prepared food, family-friendly and well-trained staff, all supported by a warm, lively setting! Salads and appetizers were meticulously prepared and sized for sharing - entrees from rockfish to risotto were authentically prepared and promptly served - desserts were superb and rivaled 5-star larger restaurants in the DC metro area. The young, accommodating staff made our dinners truly wonderful family experiences - they balanced between knowing chef's methods and understanding family dining needs!"

  • "Wonderful time and great food. I would only complain that the back room was a little cold, but we have been having exceptionally cold weather. We celebrated my father's birthday and the whole family had a wonderful time."

  • "This is one of our favorite places and usually top notch, though our recent experience was a bit of a let down. Our server forgot about us as our drinks went dry and she never checkd back with us. My chicken was just so so and I wasn't a fan of the gravy. The horseradish potatoes didn't have much flavor. While it was a less positive experience, we've had far many better ones and will return."

  • "We had a lovely dinner, I started with onion soup and my hubby had a nice kale salad. Before we were finished our apps, the waiter brought out our entrees. Given the small table, there was nowhere to put it and he flipped his head at me which I presumed meant for me to clear the table. Once I had made room for our food we enjoyed it immensely. I had told our server that I wanted wine with dinner but she had so many tables it didn't arrive until I was finished my entree. So a little finessing of the wait staff and this will be a perfect restaurant."

  • "I've been to this restaurant many times and after Saturday night's dinner will most certainly be back again. The calamari appetizer was excellent and the piece of filet mignon I had was cooked to perfection. The extra bonus was this restaurant, along with many others in Montgomery County, now allow you to bring a bottle of wine into the restaurant for a moderate corkage fee ($12). This allows you to upgrade the dining experience without upgrading your check."

  • "Italian entrees were very good as was the pheasant. However they were out of a couple entrees which should not happen on a saturday night for a 8 pm reservation. Service was woofully slow."

  • "My husband, daughter and I took my mom to Ricciuti's for dinner, and had a great meal! The location is in an old house, which results in the resaurant having multilpe small dining rooms, many with fireplaces. The food is locally sourced, which is great. All of us loved our meals...their fabulous take on mac & cheese, meatloaf, and chicken saltimbocca. Also very good hummus and garlic bread to start. The wine and beer list was not huge, but had interesting selections; my hard-to-please husband found a good dark beer, and the wine pours were generous. We enjoyed the cozy room with the fireplace behind us, and really liked being able to talk without raising our voices, which seems to have become rare in restaurants in the area."
